„We spent a fantastic vacation at this lovely cottage. Even before we started our journey from Germany, communication was very kind and helpful. On arrival the welcome was very warm and nice. We found everything we needed in the cottage and the sight in front of it was great and peaceful. Our son (and we) loved the horses, sheeps and other animals around the farm. „The cottage is in the perfect location for walking, accessing local attractions and for relaxing! It had everything you would need and more - and was a brilliant location for my partner and our dogs to enjoy some r&r before new year! Thank you! “

„We’ve stayed in the other property and that seemed to be abit more updated than this one. It advertised as having internet but as property is so remote and thick cottage stone we couldn’t get any internet. Also kitchen area may be needs some updating. All in all had a lovely time. “

„Lovely clean property, the children really enjoyed the games. We were very pleased with the little extras that the owners have available like tea & coffee. 40 mins from Alton Towers was very handy with a Tesco enroute so we could get any bits we needed. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again in the future when in the area. “

„Die Ferrienwohnung ist sehr liebevoll, mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Gemütlich, nostalgisch, sauber und ordentlich, man kann sich hier als Gast wirklich wohl fühlen. Der Eigentümer hat in der FeWo hilfreiche Hinweise für Einkaufsmöglichkeiten u. Restaurants vorbereitet. Sehr zu empfehlen.“

„Easy communication and check in, brand new and lovely and clean. Parking, comfy bed and all the things we needed in the kitchen to cook and self cater (apart from tea towels). Exactly what we needed as a place to base ourselves.“

„Lovely cottage. Secluded spot, very quiet and great views. Very well set up for dogs - great having a fenced field for them to run around safely. Bowls, balls, dog towels, poo bags, etc provided. Very comfy for the humans too!“

„We were a little apprehensive about the vicinity of the A51, but did not find this intrusive. It was a gentle pleasure to see the canal boats going past, and the children on their morning route to the village primary school.“

„The cottage was situated in the most idyllic setting. A beautiful view from the rear of the property and the hot tub. The property was perfectly functional, maybe some updating would make this the most perfect retreat“

„A lovely log cabin with hot tub. Cabins are not overlooked and were quiet. Lots of places to visit nearby with kid's, including Alton Towers. Nearby Cheadle has everythingg you might need.“

„Fantastic little cottage and the attention to details was great!!! The owners supplied milk, coffee, tea and chocolate chip muffins which were very much welcomed after a long drive. Location was brilliant and very close to Alton Towers (5 mins drive) and the suggested walks around the area were very relaxing. All in all we had a fantastic and relaxing time staying in this cottage. Definitely will be back and recommend to family and friends.“

„We booked the cottage for a week's stay whike work was being done on our home. It was a real home from home too. Everything's there, including electric blankets to warm the beds. Although thd heating kept the cottage toasty, we turned most off except living room and bathroom. Loved the log burner too, a real focal point. Internet provided was good, a bonus as the phone signal there is poor, as is most of the local area due to hills etc. Would certainly recommend.“
