"Der Teppich hatte Flecken - war irgendwie unangenehm. Der Abfluss der Wanne verstopft. Es war sehr laut. Morgens um 6:30 Uhr ist die Putzkolonne schon zu einigen Zimmern gerollt, was nochmal zusätzlich Lärm gemacht hat. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück ok, aber um 9 Uhr wurde alles weggeräumt - waren wir von den anderen Aufenthalten anders gewöhnt. Für eine Nacht ok"

"Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 7. Stock mit wunderbarer Aussicht. Das Zimmer selbst war wunderbar, sehr sauber, groß, modern. Wir haben zwei der Restaurants ausprobiert, die beide super waren, sowohl das Essen als auch der Service. Der Casino- Anteil des Hotels war nicht so unser Ding, ganz grundsätzlich, wirkte aber sehr gut besucht. "

"Old hotel but as an affordable option a great choice. The room was clean and well equipped (no hair dryer though). The personnel was super nice and helpful. Pool looked good but was already closed for the season (sept 18). Easy to get to as it‘s right beside the highway."

"The Holiday Inn Express and Suites Modesto is a solid place to stay that offered us a clean, comfortably furnished suite in which everything worked perfectly. There was also a very decent breakfast by American standards. The only thing that could be improved is the rigid mounting of the television directly opposite one of the two beds, which unfortunately did not allow the television to be swiveled. If you book a suite, you will certainly want to be able to watch TV from the seating area. Another problem with our room 316 on the top floor was that it was apparently directly under a large ventilation system on the roof. The result was constant noise in the bathroom, comparable to being in a jet plane. And even in the suite, a constant humming and low-frequency vibration of the floor was unmistakable. So our advice: feel free to stay here, this is a nice hotel, but avoid staying on the 3rd floor if possible."

"Dieses Hotel sieht nur von außen gut aus. Alles andere ist echt schlimm. Das Zimmer roch nach Urin, der Teppich war eklig, der Schrank hatte weder Boden noch Rückwand, die Klimaanlage machte einen Lärm, wie ein startendes Flugzeug, der Straßenlärm war unerträglich. Aber der Hammer war das absolut miese und mehr als lieblose „Frühstück“. Eine bodenlose Frechheit! Dazu noch das Personal, das weder reden noch Saubermachen, noch das Frühstück wieder auffüllen konnte. Auf unserer Reise bisher das schlechteste Hotel!!! "
