„This is a very cute place to stay, especially if you love antiques and history. A perfect get away for anyone wanting quiet and, perhaps, reading or study time. There is no TV, and due to the antique decor, I wouldn’t recommend this as a place for kids.“

„The house over all is good. We had a few draining issues in the bathroom and kitchen that the host seemed attentive to and hopefully fixes. The kitchenware is less than to be desired so if you plan to prep and cook much I would consider bringing your own. “

„I was in town a couple nights with my pup, this place worked out great for us. There was no soap/shampoo in the bathroom/shower....i had to run out and get some. Also, i had to pick up new batteries for the remote. No biggie, but figured i'd let you know. overall, it was nice and clean and quiet........i'd stay here again“

„What a beautiful, spacious “studio” within a beautiful 19th century house! Lived the hardwood floors with tasteful rugs, efficient kitchenette and comfortable furnishings. Nice yard outside with a wonderful city park across the street and close to restaurants and shopping“

„We drove in from St. Louis. Less than 5 minutes to KCOM and Truman state. The recommendations in the guest booklet were great- but we would like to add that we ate at La Pa and loved it! Bethany and her husband were very responsive to my questions and requests. The bunk bed had a railing and felt safe. My 4 year old slept in the bottom and it was great. You do hear some noise from the neighbors but it wasn’t keeping us from going to sleep! “

„We were in town for Thanksgiving and the property and host were great! The house is spacious and so clean. The heat had an issue and so I contacted the host, she got back to me immediately and fixed the heat within the hour. We will definitely stay again when we visit family! “

„We traveled to Trenton to celebrate Thanksgiving with family. Having the kitchen available to prep my dishes was great, and having the loft area for my teen boys to "escape" was fun. Weather was too chilly to take advantage of the outdoor amenities. Great communication with owners, too!“
