„Great little place, good location within easy reach of everything. Only downside would be the fact the bed squeeks every time you move Listing says there is a washer and dryer but there is not though this is apparently not theough lack of them trying to stop it from being on the list“

„Pleasant arty surrounds. Hard to find places for cases so tight for space.,small bench for food prep.I knocked my head badly on a sharp edged shelf above desk. This needs to be rounded off. It's dangerous . Bed linen & towels good but lots of cobwebs behind furniture “

„Everything we needed supplied. (Even a dog, Lola)We stayed 3 nights to visit TSB Lights in the park.Unit was comfortable.“

„I didn't stay nor did I visit but my friends stayed -only one night. They said the accommodation was great, the only issue was they couldn't get either gate to the property open so had to climb the fence in the front to get access. “

„Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschön ausgestattetem Stadthaus sehr genossen. Es ist mit allem ausgestattet, was für unsere Annehmlichkeit benötigt wurde. Trotz der Nähe zu einer Hauptverkehrsstraße ist es dort sehr ruhig. Wir können es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.“

It is comfortable and well set up for a relaxing experience in this stunning and peaceful location - perfectly orientated to capture views of the mountain (when it reveals itself) in one direction and the distant ocean in the other. Richard and Hilary were thoughtful hosts and it is well-located to visit some of the wonderful Taranaki gardens, the nearby beaches and to reach New Plymouth. “

„What a beautiful spot to stay in Taranaki! The studio was clean and perfectly set up, with a comfy bed and a view to the gardens. The kitchenette had everything I needed, and the bathroom was clean and modern. The gardens are beautiful, and it’s lovely to be able to have them to yourself when everyone else has left! Definitely would stay again, thank you!“

„We stayed for one night on our way home to Auckland from Wellington. Annette and her husband are welcoming hosts. She helped us with dinner recommendations and things to do. Their garden knowledge is fantastic and they were very happy to share their knowledge and experience with us. A lovely relaxing place with a very comfy bed and atmosphere. “

„A relaxing retreat in a quiet location. Vintage style granny vibe decor, this quaint cottage had plenty of room. The kitchen was well stocked. TV not smart but OK. The garden was nice with lots of fruit trees. Washing machine in bathroom was good but no extractor fan in bathroom and no insect screens to keep bugs out if windows left open.Beds were varied. Twin beds very comfy and queen bed too soft and very high off ground. Nice to have bed in conservatory, made a fabulous day bed for relaxing ...

„Note that the street address is a number AND a letter (we weren't told the letter part). Also note, there is a golf course between the property and the beach so it takes about 25 minutes to walk there - a pretty walk. We found a lake nearby with lovely picnicking spots.“

„Beautiful accom with everything you need plus more. Location perfect and parking. Beds very comfortable. Accom very clean and inviting. Thanku for the fruit. Loved everything.“

„Fabulous“

„Barbwire Bach has everything you need to enjoy its location with the added bonus of having access to their boxing gym. The kids absolutely loved it. Overlooking Opunake Lake and with the beach an enjoyable 3 minute walk away - or longer if the kids want to climb the pohutukawa trees and play on the playground, I have no hesitation in recommending Barbwire Bach and hope to stay again.“

„We had a great stay here. The property is very clean and comfortable, the owners go the extra mile by providing a few drinks and snacks, communication was very clear, and we felt we had privacy even though it's part of their home. It's in lovely location near the port, but still walking distance to town for dinner. Highly recommend and would stay again.“
