„We were in Redding for two nights for a friend’s funeral. We just needed a place to sleep basically, nothing fancy but we don’t like hotels. Janet’s lodging was perfect — simple, clean, comfortable and quiet. It’s attached to the main house but we never heard our neighbors.“

„We had a wonderful stay in the house which is in a very quiet place. House is comfortable, very well equipped and the master bedroom is awesome with large windows, you have the feeling to be in the trees. Outdoor is very nice too to appreciate the evenings. It’s only 20’ from Lassen Volcanic NP which is a great place to visit for several days: hiking Lassen peak with a top view, swimming in summit lake, visiting the small but well done museum, take good time at manzanita lake, etc… we stayed ...

„Really enjoyed my stay at this Home. With my trip to Redding I was able to give my granddaughter a surprise baby shower with our Redding family, had a family gathering for my brothers service and then I just relaxed 2 days afterwards and had friends in the area come visit as if it was just my home. „Lovely cottage, exactly as described. Clean, well appointed, everything you need for a long or short stay. So charming, beautifully decorated, so homey and comfortable! „The property was functional and mostly clean. The grill was not clean and the heating filters need to be replaced, but the place was well equipped and worked well as a base for our day trips. It lacks a lot of personal touches and small conveniences (e.g., no facial tissues, one half roll of paper towels, towels and linens were stained); comes off as a rental property, not someone's home, but that is how it is used and it works.“

„I loved this property. I'm always on the lookout for quiet places to get away to. This property was the best I have found. Everything was quiet and perfect. Space was as advertised and everything was great. A lot of reiews mentioned the driveway, it is quite the trip to the property but in my mid-sized sedan it handled it fine. I don't think I would want to drive it in the dark but we had no issues. I would definitely return here in the future. “

„Nice rental inside the country club with access to recreational areas of the club. Great host, prompt responses and instructions. John also helped with shipping my keys I had left behind at the property during checkout. Property is as shown in the photos. Kitchen is adequately equipped.Patio in the back is big and very relaxing. Great view of the lake from front porch and upstairs bedroom. Overall a great experience and host. Would love to come back.“

„Stayed at this wonderful house right on the Lake and in the Country Club. Fantastic area to be and so very relaxing. House is perfect for families to stay and unwind . Close to golf and resorts . Quite a few stairs to water , but they have benches along the path for people to rest and take in the views. Fun time was had by all.“
