„This was the perfect getaway to spend Christmas with my adult kids and granddaughter! It was absolutely beautiful watching the sunset over the lake and was so peaceful. We were able to put a tree up so my granddaughter could enjoy her first Christmas opening gifts and reflect on the memories we had visiting Pittsburg Tx with my husband. „Absolutely great place to enjoy the peace and serenity of a lakefront retreat. Hugely spacious A-frame house with kitchen and baths that contribute to your comfort. Hosts, Donna & Paul, offered friendly waves & hellos, there if you need them, leave you to yourself if you choose. We stayed with our 12-year old standard poodle (we adopted him five years ago) and he and we enjoyed the large property and the wonderful deer passing through. Great place, highly recommended. „All I can say is WOW! Frank and Linda are absolutely great folks and the view from the back porch was beautiful! Linda was so thoughtful and had baked muffins, cookies, and an anniversary package for us! Btw her baking skills are level 10! I very much enjoyed visiting with Frank at our check in. The proposer was PEACEFUL exactly what we were looking for. We will 100% be making a return visit to this gem in east texas. “

„The home is a peaceful and serene area very close to the lake. We spent a lot of time walking the area, enjoying nature. We spent one afternoon in Jefferson, which is only 30 minutes away. The beds were comfortable, and the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers in each shower were convenient. The kitchen had most of the items we needed, and the Ninja coffee maker was excellent. We were sad to leave and are already planning a trip back!“

„The mattress has a huge hole in the middle so you sink in. Towels in the bathrooms were tiny. It takes 2 to get dry. Other than that it was a nice place to stay! Beautiful scenery!“

„I’m one to fluff feathers and give 5 star ratings for no reason but oh…my golly. This place was hands down, the best rental I’ve ever stayed in. It’s 16 acre wooded lot,private lake view with multiple decks. A tree swing hung off a hill. “

„It was a great getaway. The community was so quiet and the location was perfect for everything we needed or wanted. The lakehouse was very quaint and very clean. My husband fished, our beagle strolled the property and I rested. Everything mentioned in details are spot on, with great communications. Hope to be back again.“

„We only stayed one night, but such a nice place for little more than a hotel room would have cost. We'll probably be back again and stay longer if we can arrange the travel in warmer weather. The property is large and scenic so would love to have a couple days to explore and relax here.“

„I would have loved to given the place 5 stars cause it’s a beautiful place & Robbie the host is such a nice man. We will go back!!! Only reason I gave 3 stars on cleanliness is: The outdoor kitchen needs the gas grill replaced cause the bottom is rusted out & needs a little more TLC.“
