„We had booked the accommodation to visit Niagara Falls. Buffalo is worth seeing, we would have liked to have stayed longer. The house and furnishings are a bit older, but everything is neat and spacious and most importantly clean. Well, the beds were very soft and way too short; I am 189 cm tall. You can end the evening on the porch. Opportunities for shopping are available nearby.“

„I can't say enough nice things about the apartment! Super clean, so many nice touches (an espresso machine and a Keurig, an AWESOME bluetooth speaker in the bathroom, full length mirror in the bedroom, TV on a swivel mount, little bathroom conveniences in case you forgot something!). Plenty of towels and blankets if needed. It was just me, so it was a perfect spot for a weekend. „My partner and I stayed here for a weekend to attend a nearby wedding. Joanne, the owner, was friendly and gave clear instructions. The home is very spacious and decorated so sweetly Victorian-style. We had everything we needed there for an enjoyable stay and it made our weekend that much better. We loved it. Thank you Joanne!“

„We were so comfortable in the carriage house. The beds were cozy and it was very quiet. We could walk to a different restaurant every night! The historic structure has very steep stairs going up to the living space which were not a problem for us, but would have been if my elderly parents had been there. Definitely recommend this “

„We were in Buffalo for a wedding and this was a great alternative to getting 4 hotel rooms! There was plenty of for all 7 of us. Every place we had to go was a short Uber ride, and it is only 15 minutes to the airport. The house was very clean, and had all of the basics we needed. “

„My family and I stayed here for a weekend to enjoy Niagara Falls and a Bills game. The property was stunning, very large spacious home. Beautiful views everywhere you look. Walking to the ponds in the morning was a great experience. Definitely will look to rebook next year!“

„Overall, this was a lovely place to stay. It's easy to find, and check-in/check-out was simple. It's in a beautiful part of town. I would stay here again. There are two things that kept me from giving a 5-star rating. First, parking was very cramped. Getting in was easy, but getting out takes some fancy footwork. „Wifi didnt work. It continuosly connected but had no internet. Shower was rinky dinked together and shower curtain did not cover shower so water sprayed everywhere. Lala charged a $100 pet fee for my service animals. She had a tenant living downstairs slamming doors. Street parking with privkly thorn bushes laying on the road. Extremely unresponsive to me. I would never rent this property again. Definitely left the house cleaner than when we got there.“

Problematischer Airporttransfer

"Unser Zimmer hatte eine Verbindungstür zum Nebenzimmer, obwohl wir das nicht wollten. Das war äußerst hellhörig. Der Airporttransfer wurde uns am Vorabend als Unproblematisch zugesagt, fand aber mit einer halben Stunde Verspätung statt. Wir hätten schneller zu Fuß gehen können."

"Es hat (fast alles) gepasst. Sehr freundlicher Empfang, schönes Zimmer, der Hot Tube ist halt kein Pool, die Rooftop Bar. Super aber auch bei der Preisklasse zu erwarten. Negativ war das Frühstück, winzig mit wenig Auswahl und langsamen Service. "

"Unfortunately you could not open a window as in the court there was a constant noise of venting machines or trucks. The staff is rather unfriendly. I don’t understand why for breakfast you use only one time dishes. It was so much more eco friendly and comfortable to have actual plates and mugs instead of paper cups, paper dishes and plastic spoons and knifes. The amount of trash is simply incredible. "
