„Nice quiet“

„My wife and I recently made the short trip from the Buffalo, NY area to the town of Skaneatles, which we have been to many times. However, this was the first time renting a house in the area as we wanted to bring our two dogs. We could not have been more pleased with this home and its location. Only about a two-three minute drive from the town of Skaneatles, it provided us with a "home away from hone" setting while still being able to conveniently go into town for dinner, drinks and shopping. ...

„I never say this.... but we will be back. Our getaway was fridgid but beautiful and waking up to that view of the lake was amazing. We were warm and cozy indoors. We also hottubbed in a snow shower. The house was perfect with many thoughtful details. “

„Nice property for a couple. Would be tight with more than 2, but i believe they have another cabin nearby too. Great view of the lake. We went in the winter, so didn't use the patio or small beach firepit, but it looked nice.“

„Perfect place to celebrate our 40 years of marriage. Bonus, I am from Syracuse, but moved to Pittsburgh in 1972. Amazing little property. The bald eagle visit the one morning was unreal!!!“

„Great location! Close to the main highway that most of the wineries are on, without being on the actual highway. Much lower volume of traffic. Besides, the closest wineries, Boundary Breaks, we probably my favorite of the weekend, and that is about three minutes away. “

„Excellent “

„Nice house. Second time we’ve stayed there (12/20). Easy access to wineries. Plenty of room for ten adults. Amenities were good. We would stay there again.One negative; there were some ants in the kitchen on a counter and on the floor. Not a lot, but noticeable. “

„This is house is nice on the main floor. The lower floor indeed had a musty smell. We were going to use both floors but did not end up using the lower floor. The musty smell was bothersome. We tried to open the windows but either they were labeled to not be opened up or they did not work. I think if your were able to open the windows that would help. The main floor was well stocked for cooking and the deck and inside seating was great. The beds were comfortable. “

„Had a wonderful weekend trip with my boyfriend and our dog. Clean house with all of the amenities. Short ride to Aurora (cute small town) and 1/2 hour to Ithica (hiking and city). Corner store and a couple of wineries nearby. Would definitely stay again when we can use the lake, but enjoyed the sunsets and beautiful mornings. “
