„Beautiful secluded home…everything in the description was accurate. Comfortable beds, i have a bad back and it’s hard to find a bed away from home that does not hurt my back and this place was comfortable.“

„Have stayed in many rentals and this kitchen was the best stocked have seen! Would work perfectly when you can be outdoors, but tight for the number of beds when it is too cold to be outside - just how it is in the historical lake houses. Owners are phenomenal, very responsive and thoughtful!“

„The home was clean and well stocked, though the tap water has a strong sulfur smell so bring some bottled water if that would bother you. There are squirrels making a home in the eaves and will chatter territorially while you sit on the deck, but they're cute.... noisy but cute. We had hoped to be somewhere near the lake, but the close by lake front areas were privately owned so there were no lake views nor lake access for walks along the shore. Kayaks were available but the canal was uninviting ...

„The location of this waterfront property at the north end of Chautauqua Lake is exceptional! The house is large, and although we were only a group of 6, it could accommodate many more. We enjoyed spectacular sunsets, charming campfires, a pontoon boat rental, winery tours, and a quaint lunch and dinner in the town of Mayville. The weather and fall colors could not have been more perfect! “

Except the food and drink, everything you need for a stay of any duration is provided to make it as enjoyable as possible.Our only concern during the visit was caused by the design of the second floor. „I spent 3 October nights with my family including two kids, age 11 and 14. The leaves were beautiful and it was a very peaceful stay. We ate most meals in the house which had everything we needed in the kitchen. Bedrooms were comfortable. Great access to the lake where we were able to enjoy the northern lights. Cute enclosed porch where I could enjoy my morning coffee or a glass of wine at night. Would definitely stay again. “

„We stayed for a week in June. The view CANNOT be beat, simply amazing. The extra land was great for the kids to run around and have fun. There was a snack basket and some little games left for us which was very thoughtful. We were allowed to host family who were vacationing nearby with no issues. „David was great! Had a wonderful time! Always wanted to see a frozen Lake Erie. It didn't disappoint. When we first entered the cottage we were in awe. So woodsy, clean, not cluttered. Close to restaurants and shops. Close to the highway. Easy to get in and out. Make sure you follow David's directions. Chautauqua Creek fed into Lake Erie beside us and was amazing. A little disappointed some restaurants were closed for the winter but understand. Great long weekend! Will be back!!!“
