„My husband and I and my sister and brother-in-law stayed for three nights. The house was spacious enough for us to have our own separate spaces to sleep, plus each couple having our own bathrooms was nice. The location was great in terms of walking distance to Watkins Glen State Park and restaurants/shops. All spaces were clean and we had everything we needed for food prep and cooking. „The house was spotless. The location was close to downtown Watkins Glenn. We had all the luxuries of a hotel in a house. I would definitely recommend this house. “

„…. Well, not exactly in “woods” but a very private setting , and for this “nature lover” traveler it was a great find. The private waterfall was amazing and I could hear it with windows opened and to see the Lake from my perch out the bedroom door was awesome also. It is cabin-like and not modernized - almost like it is stuck in time - but it was a warm and cozy place to come back to after day time site seeing - visiting Cornell, Ithaca, tons of parks and waterfalls - lots to do and see in ...

„Thoroughly enjoyed our winter get away stay at Grouse Haven. Clean, quaint and very peaceful. Everything was perfect. “

„The yurt was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed the wood burning stove almost every night, played lots of puzzles and games, and enjoyed sightseeing in the area. We would have enjoyed getting to know the sheep and chickens a little (we were visited regularly by two handsome black kitties), but alas we couldn't find a time. Next time!“

„We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was an almost perfect late fall weekend and just loved being able to watch the sunrise from the comfort of our living room. Everything was as stated in the description. Having a heavy duty crew cab pickup presented an interesting endeavor getting turned around 😆, the driveway was very steep and not a ton of room. I managed. Skee Ball was a huge hit. Didn’t explore the dock since it was the last weekend of October. Would definitely consider staying there ...

Not only was Dave incredibly attentive during our stay but also gave us recommendations on where to explore around the town and hikes near by. The cabin was equipped with cooking material and wood for the fire (which we really enioyed). „We were visiting family in Trumansburg for Thanksgiving and needed extra room for our large party. This cottage worked out perfectly - it was plenty warm, the backyard and patio are private and lovely, and the cottage is spacious with helpful features (great buffet shelving near large dining table). We would love to return! Thank you so much to our hosts for the well appointed cottage and convenient location to Trumansburg (and Ithaca - just depends which way you want to go on 89)!“

"Spacious and clean room, sufficient parking space and good breakfast w/o extra charge, WLAN working w/o problems. Great waterfalls nearby. Only thing one shouldn't expect is modern equipment, condition rather out of date and old. Stayed one night and would stay again."

"Günstige Absteige, für eine Nacht okay. Haben erst ein Zimmer bekommen wo die ganze dreckige Bettwäsche abgezogen drinnen lag, wurden dann aber schnell in ein anderes überwiesen. War aber kein guter erster Eindruck und richtig wohl gefühlt hat man sich nicht. Frühstück sehr schlecht. Nettes Personal. "
