„This was our second stay at the purple house and we had a wonderful time. The location is quiet, and an easy walk to both the lake and the main street where most of the restaurants and stores are. The host is very nice and very responsive. The place had a lot of amenities as well.“

„Quiet location close to downtown Ithaca. “

„My husband and I enjoyed our 3 night visit to Grouse Haven. It was extremely peaceful and relaxing. The surrounding area was beautiful and we enjoyed walking in the snow covered woods on the property. We enjoyed our time at Grouse Haven so much that we hated to leave. Phyllis was a delight to get to know and was very helpful to us. We can’t wait to make a return visit to this lovely property.“

„My girlfriend and I had a great glamping experience hosted by Dave and his wife. Not only was Dave incredibly attentive during our stay but also gave us recommendations on where to explore around the town and hikes near by. The cabin was equipped with cooking material and wood for the fire (which we really enioyed). For anyone looking for sometime to disconnect and enjoy with a loved one - We recommend this cabin for you!“

„Pet friendly weekend get away. Our dog loved the fenced in backyard. This cottage was perfect. It was close to restauraunts, wineries, and breweries. Some hiking trails within 30 minutes that our dog loved as well. Such as the Finger Lakes National Forest. It had all items for cooking a meal at home too. Cleanest vacation rental we have ever stayed in!!! Thank you for a wonderful stay. “

„It is a great location rain or shine. The central living room is undersold online as we have had groups as big as 7 indoors all day due to rain without being on top of each other. Everything you need for your stay is there, and if it isn't Mary is able to help. Really a great little spot to relax and enjoy yourself. “

„Nice place on the lake, very quiet and private, everything is included in the rental, nothing really to bring (except keurig coffee pods) Plenty of room we had a family of 8 including small children. The kitchen was a bit crowded, the furniture the house is on the older side. But overall nice place to rent. We would recommend. Thank you for your hospitality. “

„Mary was such a wonderful host. The cottage was very clean. It was very relaxing and we enjoyed sitting around the fire pit.“

„The yurt was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed the wood burning stove almost every night, played lots of puzzles and games, and enjoyed sightseeing in the area. We would have enjoyed getting to know the sheep and chickens a little (we were visited regularly by two handsome black kitties), but alas we couldn't find a time. Next time!“

„Beautiful area, very large yard. House was very clean and had almost everything we needed. The water pressure was not good if more than one person was showering. That was the only negative thing we noticed. “

„It was the nature getaway we dreamed it would be! So cute and cosy. The host answered my q's when we arrived late, and provided us with lots of high quality firewood. Wonderful.“

"Spacious and clean room, sufficient parking space and good breakfast w/o extra charge, WLAN working w/o problems. Great waterfalls nearby. Only thing one shouldn't expect is modern equipment, condition rather out of date and old. Stayed one night and would stay again."

"Günstige Absteige, für eine Nacht okay. Haben erst ein Zimmer bekommen wo die ganze dreckige Bettwäsche abgezogen drinnen lag, wurden dann aber schnell in ein anderes überwiesen. War aber kein guter erster Eindruck und richtig wohl gefühlt hat man sich nicht. Frühstück sehr schlecht. Nettes Personal. "
