„There is nothing fancy about the house, but it was perfect for our needs. The kitchen had all appliances, silverware, plates, pots that one might need and the location was close to a lot of good hiking and the VIC. It was great to have the kayaks and dock on the property -- Lake Clear Outlet is very peaceful without a lot of houses and the current/wind is more manageable than when you kayak on a big lake. We had one small problem with the diverter not working in the shower in the morning but ...

„This was the first stay at the Cabins at Colby Lake for myself and a group of friends. I rented the Moose Cabin and loved it! I heard about this place from good friends who had stayed here a couple of years ago. We got in Thursday night for a 4 night stay, with skiing, Carnival fun in Saranac with the Parade, live music, the ice castle, and fireworks. „The house was a little smaller than I expected but easily accommodated all 8 of us. Everything we needed was there and house rules/instructions were clear. I gave 4 stars because the shower handle in the master broke the second day. The owner clearly stated that it was difficult and I guess it finally broke. We managed with all of us just more shower planning. All in all it was a nice place to stay. “

„Beautiful mountain and lake views. Great area for outdoor sports. The home is well stocked. The owners thoughtfully left a hot chocolate station, tea and coffee, a bottle of wine and wood for a fire. The house was decorated for the holidays and they even had a Christmas tree.“

„Very cozy cabin. Bathroom perhaps a bit TOO cozy. Which means it was lovely, but very small. Many stubbed toes on the shower lip, but I concede that not much could be done about that. There were a few cobwebs in the rafters, some sawdust on the top of the bathroom mirror, but overall lovely. “

„We enjoyed stay at ADK cottage with our family. Everything what we needed. Nice kitchen, lots of space. Very responsive host. We were during the snowstorm, the tractor came multiple times a day to clean the road. This quiet place and far from everything. But we enjoyed it and made trips to Lake Placid to dine out.“

„We have stayed in this home 3 times now and every year we love it. It just feels like home. Always clean and always ready for us to stay. Jason is so helpful and couldnt ask for a more responsive property manager. From the beautiful property and all the pretty trees. My dog also loved roaming around and playing with the girls in the snow. As usual cant wait to come back next year. “
