„The cottage was very cute although a bit outdated but it served our purposes for my 2 girlfriends and I. It was extremely quiet. It literally only took about 5 minutes to walk down to the private beach. They even had a nice fold up beach wagon to use! The private beach was AMAZING!! So quiet and we had PERFECT beach weather! „Overall we were happy with our stay. Beginning started out a little annoying. Check in was easy but wasnt communicated until a half hour after we were able to be there and had to call for the code. Walking in, the floor didnt look vacuumed and beds looked unmade/slept in. We spent the first hour remaking beds (clean sheets were in the dryer), vacuuming (we have a crawler who puts everything in her mouth), and getting rid of all the daddy long legs that were posted up towards the ceiling. ...

„We stayed back in 2019. Now in 2024 there have been some major updates. The place is so cute! All the details give a cozy beach vibe. AC is a definite bonus. Everything you need is available. „Our family of 6 were in town for a kids sporting event and this space was perfect. The rooms are spacious with tons of storage. The vintage feel isn’t normally our style but we loved it and it was in great shape and so so clean. We got to see deer in the back yard and the neighborhood was quiet and close to anything you would need as far as shops food and grocery. Hosts made communication easy and I knew I could get ahold of them with a simple text message.“

„This apartment is great. Yes, you're in the city, down a few streets over seems sketch, but this one is perfectly fine. As someone who didnt used to be used to city living, then learned how to live in downtown Chicago, I'd be fine living here. Tried to add rules and stipulations after receiving my money and contract was already signed, and made me feel like there was a violation of my privacy and rights, as well as racial profiling. Sent messages to me at inappropriate hours up to 2 am. Will not book again as I was very uncomfortable with treatment during the stay.“
