„Enroute to the motel, I took a look at some prior reviews and got real nervous. Luckily, I found them to be very misleading (false even.) Cons - Entering the room (#1) it smelled like cigarettes. The southwest corner of the ceiling looked like it could fall in. The shower is very small. The commode space is even smaller. There was no soap provided. We commented as we left that he must have watched videos or read the book on how to create a great VRBO. Good stuff:1. He's very quick on communication and answered a bunch of questions;2. „House was perfect for our needs -- a long parents weekend visit to Colgate. Not exactly Colgate adjacent, but convenient to the airport, Syracuse and right on Lake Oneida and 30 min to Colgate. Just down the road from Verona Beach State Park and it's possible to keep walking to Sylvan Beach -- and with perfect fall weather it was an amazing walk. House was great to cook in and made for a fine remote work location. I only wish we'd made better use of the she shed /man cave b/c it is an awesome ...

The house is around 5 mins close to many fast food restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, a train station, etc. There was an abundant of necessitys provided, I really appreciated the small touches like every dish and cooking utensil you could think of even basic cooking or baking supplies, extra blankets, bathroom supplies, a pullout bed, tv's with wife, the theatre plus a nitendo switch!
