„It was a great spot. Quiet and peaceful. There is a short walk from parking to the site, but there’s a wagon to help haul stuff in and out. We heard frogs, owls, fox and coyote. Such beautiful sounds of nature. It rained A LOT during our stay and the tent did not leak at all. It stayed totally dry. The shower and outhouse were close enough that it wasn’t far during the night to go. The tent had cots (we used our blow up mattresses) they seemed comfy when we laid on them. „This house was close to the village yet you felt like you were in your own private world. We all enjoyed the heated pool which was especially nice since we hit a chilly week. The house was very clean and functioned perfectly for our family of 4. The hosts have a gem of a property here and we hope there is availability next year!“

„We stayed at this house because of its proximity to the main snowmobile trail in the area. We rode from there all day around the surrounding areas for lunch and dinner both days.“

„8 college friends gathered at this property, a short drive to Sacandaga Lake. Large fully stocked kitchen, dining room seats 10, living room with fireplace and TV, plenty of sleeping space. Was easily able to communicate with owner and hope to return soon.“

„Cute. Small. Kitchen well-equipped, including Keureg with some pods provided for coffee & tea, sweetener & powdered cream (morning coffee info is important to me!). Near Empire State Trail, which was perfect because I was biking in and out from the trail. Host very accessible. Location appears rural, but there are active train tracks very nearby, so it can get noisy, but it settles a bit at night. I was confused because in the listing it says sleeps 4, and in the photos the upstairs beds looked ...

„Was very please with the property it was in a small town right on the outside of town. Best part was having the Amish horse and buggies riding down the road each day. The hist was honestly amazing and accommodating. My best friend and her family live out side of fort plain NY, when I go up to visit this will be my go to house to rent. “

„The cabin is cozy, clean, and wonderfully secluded, providing a peaceful retreat just a short drive from Cooperstown. Its convenient location puts you close to the Baseball Hall of Fame and a variety of local restaurants and attractions. Mark is an exceptional host—very accommodating and understanding when my original travel plans changed unexpectedly. He quickly offered a solution that made my trip to Cooperstown possible. Highly recommended for a comfortable and hassle-free stay!“

„This home was beautifully set up. We really enjoyed cooking meals and relaxing in the hot tub. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great...it rained most of our stay. We took a few road trip and hung out in the house which was lovely. extremely low in the lake“

„We loved this house and felt right at home. The property manager was super welcoming and very accommodating. Just a short walk across the yard to a beautiful lake made this a perfect place for us and our kids ages 3,10 and 13. We brought our canoe for fishing and did so each morning of our 6 night stay. „Amazing house for a winter family getaway .We had tons of snow . Amos was very accessible and cleared the roads on theProperty when needed.Every family member enjoyed themselves. From the 3 yr old toddler , to the 20 , 30 and 60 somethings. We lived the stoneFireplace and hugh wellSupplied kitchen .Thank you Amos and family“

„We always wanted to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame - the cottage is a short ride and very close to Cooperstown so ideal location for us. Scott and his friendly pup Shoog greeted us, and Scott was very helpful and responsive to our questions. The cottage was very clean and comfortable, and the nearby restaurants were terrific. We had a very nice stay and enjoyed beautiful weather and fall colors!“

„We found the quiet and surrounding farm truly relaxing. Even though we drove sixty miles roundtrip each day, the drive was beautiful and relaxing. The only negative was the wifi being intermittent and the listed password was inaccurate. Overall, a good week.“

„Very affordable, especially for a family. Beds not very comfortable and had to clean up a little ourselves, but didn't mind. (They bought new mattresses but left the plastic on them, very hot for sleeping) “

"Das Hotel war mittelmässig. Die Zimmer sehr klein. Beim online Einchecken wurde uns ein Upgrade angeboten, welches dann doch nicht verfügbar war. Die Frau am Empfang hat uns nicht wirklich begrüsst. Beim Frühstück waren wir alleine. Es war kein grosses Angebot aber ok. "

"Ein super schönes und sehr neues Motel. Endlich mal eins ohne den "alten dicken Teppich Wahnsinn". Zimmer richtig groß für 4 Erwachsene plus Sitzgelegenheit und schöne Küche. in direkter Nachbarschaft findet man einige Fast-Food Schuppen und sonstiges. Also wirklich gute Lage. Wir gingen zum Chipotle nebenan der sehr lecker war. Besonders hervorzuheben ist ein exzellentes Frühstück mit frisch zubereiteten Eier-Speisen aller Art. Das gibt es in dieser Kategorie sehr selten bis gar nicht, TOP."
