„No complaints. Stayed during the winter so ne er got the full experience with the lake but it was a great home.“

„We were a family of 4 adults and 2 toddlers staying over Thanksgiving. We really didn’t need all the space but we certainly enjoyed it. There’s a huge well stocked kitchen, kids’ play areas on both the main floor and basement, and the property is massive and gorgeous. Great stay!“

„This place is amazing!! The house had everything we needed and more. We really enjoyed our stay and also be able to host some of our family in the area was precious. My daughters rented equipment for the babies which worked out well. The house is very spacious and 5 adults and 3 children fit nicely. Very highly recommend. The pier was fun to hang out on but due to weather we were to enjoy the lake as much. Easy to find, and owners were very responsive. “

„We stayed here for work event and the location was perfect. Not too close, not too far away. Its snowed one evening but the driveway was not slippery at all. The house was very clean and kept in order. Plenty of room in the bedrooms and bathroom. The operational fireplace was also an added bonus. “

„We had a friend group boardgaming weekend and this was perfect for our purposes. The table was large enough for our biggest games and the pool table doubled as a backup playing space. The race cars are a nice touch of whimsy too :-) Our only suggestion would be to replace the oversized, too-low chandelier over the table but really only a minor thing.“

„If you pictured this property minutes from the historic district of Newtown it’s exactly that. The space brings to life the feeling of the rustic yet comfortable aspect of Connecticut. My adult son and teenage daughter were comfortable but thoroughly enjoyed the living room fireplace. This location is 10 minutes away from restaurants that will please most families with a mix of family to high end with a side of fancy. “

„I cannot say enough good things about Deirdre's beautiful home and how grateful my family was to be able to stay here during our visit to Stamford. The house is perfect for a family with younger kids; they were so excited to have their very own play room! The rooms and bathrooms are well equipped with everything you might need, as was the kitchen. Deirdre in particular was so communicative and helpful with all of our questions. We very much hope to have an excuse to stay here again!“

„This was just what we were looking for. The house was roomy, open and charming. It was also relaxing to sit on the back deck surrounded by trees and listening to the calming sound of the brook. It felt like you out in the countryside yet the cute village of Sandy Hook along with Newtown restaurants and shopping were less than 10 minutes away.“

„My time spent at the lake house with my family was unforgettable. Nestled along the serene shoreline, the house offered stunning lake views from every window. Mornings began with coffee on the spacious deck, watching the sun rise over the water. Days were filled with family fun. The house itself was cozy yet modern, with plush furnishings, a crackling fireplace, and a fully-equipped kitchen where we cooked meals together. "Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Alles war sehr sauber und daher perfekt für eine Nacht. Was uns gestört hat, ist der Zug, der sehr laut war. Die Ohrstöpsel werden an der Rezeption zur Verfügung gestellt. WLAN funktioniert zwar an der Rezeption aber nicht im Zimmer - leider."
