„Needed a safe, beautiful space to have a girls weekend. Everything you need is there. The movie room was a bonus!!! The view is gorgeous. Hopefully we can get it for a weekend in the summer. “

„We booked a weekend away to celebrate family birthdays and were very happy to celebrate in such a special place. There was plenty of room for 11 of us (+ dog) and was a mix of modern touches and old world charm highlighting the legacy of the house. And the view of the Hudson was a highlight of our stay. Highly recommend!“

„Our family's stay at Helen and Richie's property for the holidays was perfect. Waking up to views of the lake every morning, watching flocks of birds travel on the water and being surrounded by nature was all we could ask for. The house has all amenities provided in the kitchen, bathrooms etc. Location is convenient near shops, grocery, and restaurants in New Fairfield. The hosts were very responsive in communication and I appreciated them providing everything we needed. “

„We loved this property! Definitely one of the most well decorated Vrbo properties we've stayed at. It was clean and comfortable (the bed was a dream!) and the perfect size for a couple. The location was remote and quiet but convenient enough to our planned activities in Kent, CT and Beacon, NY.“

„Beautiful modern home with great views over the pond and woods. Super comfortable and many amenities. I really appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was with pots and pans that you can actually cook with compared to most VRBO's. Only drawback is that the area isn't really walkable. Busy road with minimal shoulder and you can't get down to the pond. We drove to a number of great hikes in the area though. Bonus: the woods behind the house were home to a couple great horned owls calling to ...

„Charming and comfortable, lots of living space on beautiful grounds in picturesque small village. Collected objects of international art and crafts added to the enjoyment. Quiet and private with good internet connection and great suggestions for local food and necessities. Interesting and gracious host Jay was a trove of stories and information- but never intrusive.“

„Everything we needed as a home base to visit family in the area while taking time to relax. Stunning view even in December. Nicely decorated for the holidays. “

„A lovely place but a lot of stairs - there is a broken stair lift for the upstairs bedroom - no bathroom on the main floor so for anyone with knee etc issues, this is not the place to stay- beautiful home and location - fully equipped kitchen and comfortable stay otherwise - perfect for warmer months with lake activities“

„We had such a nice stay at Mark and Sarah’s. Check in was so easy and they were very attentive to anything we needed. The property and apartment are beautiful, it was so nice waking up and seeing all the trees and it was so quiet. We will definitely be back and stay when we are visiting our daughter at Fairfield.“

„We had a wonderful stay at the Contemporary Cozy Cottage! Very modern amenities and appliances, and the kitchen had everything we needed!! Nadia always responded promptly, and answered all of my questions. The Cottage is located close to just about everything in the Peekskill, Cortlandt Manor, and Yorktown Heights area. And I would definitely recommend a short drive to the charming little town of Cold Spring which is not too far away. Thank you Nadia!“

„This adorable cottage attached to the main house was fabulous for my wife and I for 4 nights! It has a little kitchen, space heaters everywhere (us southerners can’t handle the New England winters like we used to!) and was very clean! We have never stayed in an attached rental before and I would say we would be open to exploring more because of our experience! “

„We had a friend group boardgaming weekend and this was perfect for our purposes. The table was large enough for our biggest games and the pool table doubled as a backup playing space. The race cars are a nice touch of whimsy too :-) Our only suggestion would be to replace the oversized, too-low chandelier over the table but really only a minor thing.“

„The neighborhood was clean, upscale, and beautifully kept. It came with Candlewood Beach access. The second story suite was gorgeous, clean, and well apportioned. The bed was comfortable. The whole house was well maintained and a wonderful,"homey" feel to it. The Hostess was friendly, cheerful, and very accommodating. The house is on the hillside leading to Lake Candlewood. As can be imagined, the views from the windows were outstanding.“

„We had a small wedding with 16 guests and this was the perfect property for it! It had everything we needed and offered a lot of unique features that most properties don’t have. We had the best wedding weekend here and are so thankful! “

"Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Alles war sehr sauber und daher perfekt für eine Nacht. Was uns gestört hat, ist der Zug, der sehr laut war. Die Ohrstöpsel werden an der Rezeption zur Verfügung gestellt. WLAN funktioniert zwar an der Rezeption aber nicht im Zimmer - leider."
