„We stayed for 2 nights for a special birthday. The communications beforehand were informative and friendly. When we arrived the welcome was warm and the property was lovely. It was exactly as described as well as being clean and well equipped. The outside space was also excellent with a good sized, enclosed and safe garden. We also asked for a dinner on one night and a full English breakfast on our last morning. Both meals were excellent, well cooked with generous portions. I highly ...

„Escaped the crazy, and embraced peace. The Barn is a perfect place to unwind. Clean, spacious, with a well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. Located in a quiet cul de sac in a small hamlet miles from the noise; and yet within a short drive to good pubs and country shops. This is an our second Christmas at The Barn. It’s a gem.“

The location is within walking distance from the Oxford Station and the center yet it is located in a very quiet street. The host was very friendly and very responsive. „Elm Bank is a beautiful cottage in a perfect location in Lower Swell. The listing is accurate, if anything the pictures do not quite show you how large the cottage is. We were more than comfortable as a group of six adults. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of pots and pans, the fridge is expansive, and there's plenty of storage for food and other necessities. „We really enjoyed our stay at Well Cottage. The quaint little house is perfectly equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The location is ideal in the centre of the village, but at the same time completely quiet. Dawn, together with her mother, quickly takes care of all the guests' concerns and emergencies. „12 of us stayed at this beautiful house for 3 nights to see in the new year together, we had the most wonderful time. The house was perfect for all ages, there was something for everyone. We particularly liked that we could sit together in the living area and eat meals together as there was a dining table big enough for all of us. The games room and pool were perfect additions. Everyone enjoyed themselves which is a hard task when catering for all ages. We will be back, thank you“

"Overall a good experience. Downside: my room was very cold when I arrived and it took the whole night until the room became reasonably warm. Additioally, electrical heating stops whenever the key card is removed as one leaves the room."

"Das Hotel hat mir insgesamt sehr gut gefallen. Die Zimmer sind stets sauber und werden gründlich gereinigt, was meinen Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gemacht hat. In der Bar in der Empfangshalle herrscht immer reges Treiben, was für eine lebendige Atmosphäre sorgt. Obwohl es etwas hellhörig ist, überzeugt das Hotel durch den Charme der stilvollen Einrichtung und schafft damit eine einladende und gemütliche Atmosphäre. Ich komme gerne wieder!"

"I really really enjoyed my stay at the hotel! Its perfect place to get into the Cotswold, go on hikes or just relax. To the hotel do not expect a 5 star spa high-end hotel. This hotel has a lot of english charm which i loved!! My room just had one wardrobe with just 10 hangers ,so all the shirts and underwear stayed in the bags. Which is no problem for me but maybe a bigger wardrobe wouldake sense here. Great big bathroom, everything was clean and tidy 👍👌 You even have a samll SPA area with 1x sauna and a steam room and jacuzzi (you have to pay extra but its ok its holiday). i would definitely come again!"

"Das Hotel ist nett und bietet 24Std. Spiel-Ess-und Trinkspass an. Leider waren die Zimmer im Haus Reading etwas warm, Klimaanlage zeigte keine Wirkung und die Fenster konnten nur minimalst geöffnet werden. Zudem war der Frühstücksbereich um 08.00 etwas überfordert. Tassen, Besteck, Teller fehlten erst mal es wurde aber bemüht und letztlich erfolgreich Abhilfe geschaffen. Ingesamt nicht schlecht aber die könnten noch besser sein"
