„We had a fabulous stay at the log cabin. The hosts were quick to respond to queries and made it a very pleasant stay. The accommodation was top notch and had everything we needed for a few days of relaxation. Would definitely stay again. “

„This was a lovely, cosy wee house, the beds were comfy, everything we needed was there. We really like having a dining table and just enough seats for us all. The outside space was great to sit and enjoy the weather. Kakanui is always a fav, loved playing in the waves, very refreshing. Great walk along the beach. Would definitely stay here again.“

„I was concerned that it was a bedroom and not a house. You do share a toilet and bath but there was nobody about. Maybe a very quiet asian girl. It was good.“

„Das Haus hat viel Charme, ist nett eingerichtet und die Betten sind sehr bequem. Negativ war für uns, dass es drinnen muffig roch und klamm war; nachdem wir überall die Heizungen hochgedreht hatten, ging es einigermaßen. Momentan wird gegenüber gebaut, das heißt, dass sogar sonntags ab 7 Uhr mit Baulärm zu rechnen ist.“

„Loved our stay here. It is walking distance to the Victorian Precinct and many shops and cafes. Was very quiet at night. The cottage is so pretty...beautiful wallpaper, art, linen curtains, comfy hotel-style sheets and towels. We had everything we needed and it was very clean. There is even an ocean view from the lounge.“

„Pro: the electronic devices were working, WiFi was fast and reliable. Scenic view. Con: dirty and smelly furniture, we did some cleaning but gave up on it in the end, the insolence of it is that you have to pay a cleaning fee, we did plenty of pictures that prove all the dirt; most of the windows are rotten and broken, at one window tape covers the cracks in the glass; mattresses were uncomfortable; water strongly tastes like mold, so we had to boil it to make it potable; there is a mouse hole ...

„Really loved our time here! Quiet and peaceful and a great location for the lake. A 40 foot walk takes you to a glorious view of the lake. Perfect for an afternoon happy hour. It was cozy and comfortable. Thank you!! “
