„Wahrscheinlich eins unserer Lieblingshotels während unserer 3-wöchigen Reise. Super schönes luxuriös-eingerichtetes Hotelzimmer! Leider war das Bad in einem recht schlechten Zustand (Duschtür kaputt, Waschbecken ist wenig bis gar nicht abgelaufen). Trotzdem haben wir die Zeit wirklich genossen!“

„This is our 3rd time to stay at the Dunes, the spa pool and views are amazing. However the plumbing is needing some attention. We wondered why there was a plunger beside the toilet and the kitchen taps are a bit tired. But it was still an enjoyable stay and we couldn't fault the cleanliness“

„Half house, half museum, we loved Monday Cottage! It is old, but comfortable and full of old-fashioned charm. We stayed five days and still didn't finish checking out all of the fascinating collection of books, records, pictures, ornaments and other miscellanea with which the house is filled. Two BIG pluses for us - it is dog-friendly and just a stone's throw from the lovely Castlecliff Beach. We'll be remembering and talking about this portion of our holiday for a long time to come! „Beautifully appointed home, stunningly views and close enough to whanganui that we could pop to the Saturday morning river market with ease. Most comfy beds! Lots of space for everyone. Had a wonderful weekend. Information about peanut allergy would have been helpful at time of booking to ensure no peanuts were taken to the house. we're keennto make this a yearly trip! „A neat, clean property in a location very handy to central Whanganui. It suited our group well although it was very difficult to cook for 6 using the small pots - we borrowed some from a friend. Arrived to find someone had jumped the fence and fairly well stripped the lemon tree before we moved him on. „However it was very cold, as it is a big house. they have a wood fire but there was not much wood for the four days we were there and the heater provided didnt work well. Everything was awesome, other than the fact the house was freezing.“

„A few minutes drive from the Town Centre and down a short driveway we were delighted to find a little oasis of peace and tranquility on the backs of the Whanganui river. We were met by a lovely couple, Stephen and Mandy, who met us with open arms and provided us with exceptional care and attention during our short stay. „We had a group of 12 people doing an Alpine Skills course. It was ideal for our group with a good sized living area and it was warm & comfortable with the fire going.“

„What a beautiful property! even better than the pictures. Lots of outside space for dogs, impeccably clean and host was very friendly. Little added extras were a lovely touch. We would definitely come back here again! We were extremely happy with everything.“

"Wir haben ein Studio mit 35 Quadratmetern gebucht und ein Studio mit maximal 20 Quadratmetern bekommen. Trotz nachfragen, stand kein größeres Studio zur Verfügung. Dir winzige Küchenzeile war zwar ganz gut ausgestattet, aber es gab keinen Tisch, an dem man z.B. frühstücken konnte. Dafür aber 3 Stühle. Da es keine Klimaanlage gab und das Studio den ganzen Tag in der vollen Sonne stand, war die Nacht unerträglich heiß. Wir geben trotzdem 2 Sterne, weil das Personal und die Gastgeber sehr freundlich waren."
