„My daughter and I stayed here while participated in the 2024 Columbia Gorge Marathon (her) and half (me). This was the perfect “home” to base from. Close to the event, but not right in the middle of it all. In fact the marathon course passed right by it. The location was very clean and stocked. The beds were also comfortable and well appreciated. We would absolutely stay here again. “

„Overall we enjoyed out stay. Very peaceful. I do wish the pool and hot-tub didn't require sign in and were open later, but this probably helped keep things more calm. One complaint was that there was a lot of light coming through the bedroom windows. Would have liked full black-out curtians, but we made do. “

„Stepping into this cabin, you can tell the host has thoughtfully and carefully worked through each detail to capture the history and beauty of the area. The cabin was so peaceful, with sounds of rain and the river nearby, beautiful lookout windows, and the comfiest bed. Woodstove kept us toasty warm (after a couple of failed attempts to start a fire), and the bathroom located just outside the cabin was the perfect refreshment needed.Kitchen is stocked with everything needed! „We loved this cabin the moment we walked in the door! The cabin is well appointed, cozy, and inviting. The glass-fronted wood stove, radiant heat floors, walk-in shower with a forest view, comfortable bed (again with forest view), and the river trail were all highlights. We can't wait to return!“

„The location is absolutely beautiful. The cabin was cute and had everything we needed. If you have equilibrium problems you might have a hard time as the cabin is pretty uneven. The hot tub probably needs to be drained and refilled. It had a lot of debris but was enjoyed none the less. Our biggest issue was the water. It smells horrendous so you are going to want to bring bottled water to drink and expect a smell from the water when you shower. The deck was amazing and we were lucky with some ...

„In a small cluster of homes. Neighbors are quiet. Woods setting is lovely and a very short drive to Salmon River trailhead. Beds need upgrading but otherwise very unpretentious and cozy.“

„It was so cozy and calm. There is no central heat, so it took a day of burning wood to get the house warm. We also couldn’t figure out how to operate the oven the stove part we got, but not the oven. I just love being in the woods and that cozy cabin. It was lovely.“

„Spent 3 nights here as a short getaway to go snowshoeing by day and play board games and watch movies by night. The kitchen was really well-stocked with equipment, the house was clean, updated and comfortable. We'll definitely stay again!“

„We were looking for a few days in the mountains. Hoping to see stars, be surrounded by woods, and lulled into relaxation with a rushing river. This cabin checked those boxes. It is tucked away in a residential neighborhood. Even with neighbors close by, it felt like we were in the woods by ourselves. The cabin had that old-cabin smell to it, but that aired out quickly. „Very quiet area, backs up to the woods and the jacuzzi is awesome. Close to stores and restaurants as well as skiing and outdoor adventures. Would definitely recommend.“

„Hit 5 local waterfalls, relaxed in the hot tub and hit all the shops and bars we could walk to. Perfect house for our mini vacation. “

„Had a great time at the cabin and made a great home base for sledding at snow bunny! Clean and well stocked! I was worried about loft for kids but it’s bigger than photos look so we didn’t have any concerns/issues with them sleeping and playing up there. We will be back!“

„Cute cozy cabin with quick access to the mountain & nearby restaurants. Cabin was a little cold upon arrival but quickly warmed up & was stocked well with blankets until it did. The kitchen was stocked with essentials for our getaway. It was the perfect size for a family of 4. Kim was a great host and maintained great communication during our stay. “

„We loved our stay in Underwood! The house was super clean, kid friendly, and the kitchen was very well stocked! The kids enjoyed playing games from the game closet and sledding in the yard. The property is very private, but conveniently located just a few minutes from White Salmon and Hood River. The owners are communicative and accommodating. Absolutely recommend this home for a family getaway! We visit this area often and will definitely be staying here again!“

„Nice property, but some instructional materials about heating, the stove for people unfamiliar with gas cooking, more specifics about trash and recycling. At 75 I’ve stayed in many rentals and I can’t remember a rental that didn’t provide more information. kitchen is well equipped.“

"Bettbezug dreckig, Haar lang schwarz auf Kissen, Spiegel verschmiert. Bett quietscht bei jedem bewegen. Dame an der Info sehr freundlich, hat mir neues Zimmer angeboten. Konnte ich nicht annehmen da mein man krank war und sofort sich sofort ins Bett gelegt hat. Der Manager wollte sich melden, ist aber nicht passiert. Frühstück musste wegen Umbau im Zimmer eingenommen werden. Dort gab es keinen Tisch und nur 1 Stuhl. Wir saßen auf dem Bett. Man kann es aber schon weiterempfehlen, gute Lage."
