„Don't get me wrong, the couple was very nice. Let us check out their animals, go to the spring on their property, gave us a dozen eggs... However, I was under the impression there were beds, not air mattresses in the tent, air mattresses do not hold heat and are a poor choice when it gets cold becausethey also deflate with cold weather. „The house was decorated very nice. The kitchen was fully stocked with pans, dishes andutensils! The shower caddy had a hairball and under the sink was disorganized and gross. Overall it was great.This would be amazing in the summer time!“

„We stayed a few days in Steeleville, MO, during our Rte 66 road trip thru MO. Our host was absolutely wonderful! We ended up arriving later in the evening, in the dark! She actually contacted us, providing directions and maintained contact with us until we arrived. She made sure we had everything we needed upon arrival... even a bottle of wine! With her vast knowledge of the area she was able to provide so many excellent suggestions for food, shopping and site seeing. We LOVED the quaint ...

„The weather was bad the day we arrived but we where very happy with the way the cabin sat, privacy and just a really cute setup. The title i gave is because we had two beautiful bald eagle flying around just off of the back deck on our second day. If you know the song salsbury hill maybe you will understand. „Everything was perfect (except for the weather at check-in!). The location is wonderful, we loved the bathroom/showers and greenhouse where we could hang and eat and admire Benka's plants! „Very remote feeling but only 5 miles from town. This place is a little gem, with all the amenities and then some to make sure you feel right at home. We appreciated having somewhere close to our kids to be able to have a holiday dinner with. The sound of the river while outside was so peaceful. And we walked down to it to skip rocks. Just beautiful, thanks for sharing your cabin with us!“
