„It was a wonderful house to spread out yet all be together. Such history in the house details ! We loved being able to purchase the baskets right on the spot the owner makes as well. We would stay again ! “

„We were here for a reunion in the area, was a perfect place to stay. A nice park across the street that we used quite a bit, walking, disc golf, basketball. Enjoyed the 2 living rooms, reclining couch! Quiet neighborhood, we would come back!“

„Great weekend with friends in a gorgeous Victorian house. Beautifully appointed and the beds and bedding were so fluffy and comfy! The neighborhood is quiet, the hot tub was relaxing and there’s ample driveway and some street parking. Would highly recommend and would go back.“

„We had a wonderful early Friendsgiving at this VRBO. Communication with the owner was flawless and there was plenty of space to feel comfortable while we were inside. Proximity to campus is amazing. Very quiet unit that is nicely maintained. “

„The house is very large and accommodated our group very well. We checked in Friday afternoon. It was disappointing that someone didn't come to turn the air conditioning on until Saturday morning. There were also a significant number of flies and wasps in the house. I got the vacuum out Saturday morning to clean them up. But those really are the only complaints. “

„Enjoyed our stay. It was a perfect little spot, but I did not notice when I booked it that there is actually not a kitchen. I had brought food to cook, but that did not work! There is a small room that looks like a converted laundry room that has a coffee bar, a tiny fridge (about 1/2 the size of my dorm room frige) and a microwave. We made it work, but worth noting if you are like me and just assumed there is a kitchen! It's really more like a glorified hotel suite than what I think of as a ...

„Stop The Clock is a cozy, clean house, with a great view. We loved coming "home" each night from busy wedding activities. The beds are very comfortable. We also loved waking up to watch the sun rise as we sat and drank our coffees at the kitchen counter. Kathleen is the best host, so friendly and helpful. „I found out two days before our stay that the home was double booked on the last day of our visit. I texted with the owner several times and she decided that she was going to honor the other persons booking. I had to find another home for our last night, which was costly as a last minute booking. When we arrived on our first day, the owner was present and said the cleaner did not show up, so we had to wait until 5:30 to check in. "Nice hotel in downtown Iowa City. The most reasonably priced Hyatt I have ever stayed at. Great room on top floor of high rise building. Great bed, great bathroom and shower… Breakfast also very nice… the only draw back is that parking costs extra. But in this town… parking is expensive anywhere downtown,"
