„Hervorragende Betreuung im Rahmen der Vermietung durch Graham und seine Familie Die Ferienwohnung entspricht genau der Beschreibung und den Fotos. Wir haben zweimal sehr gut im hauseigenen Pub zu Abend gegessen. Insgesamt haben wir uns rundherum wohl gefühlt, die Ferienwohnung ist sehr zu empfehlen.“

„Wir kamen sehr spät abends an und wurden von Sally sehr freundlich empfangen. In Bezug auf Service und Herzlichkeit gibt es nichts auszusetzen. In Bezug auf Sauberkeit der Betten und Qualität des Frühstücks sollte man aber nicht zu heikel sein.“

„The cottage is located very near to the center of the village, which has everything you need for a long stay. The kitchen is well appointed but we did have problems with the overly sensitive smoke detector. Communication with Lisa was excellent. She responded immediately to any questions we had. The place is best suited for people who plan to spend most of their time outdoors walking and exploring, since it doesn’t have an outdoor patio or yard. „A lovely spacious place located in the heart of Tavistock. Rooms were great and the living area really spacious. There’s no parking but we made it work with our 3 cars using local roads and short/long stay car parks. The wood fire was out of action but the place was warm and cosy with the heating on.“

„Die „Scheune“ liegt in einem idyllischen Dorf hinter dem Haus des Vermieters. Sie hat einen eigenen Garten und ist mit allem (und mehr), was man braucht, ausgestattet. Supernette Vermieter. Im Ort sind zwei empfehlenswerte Gastronomien (Castle Inn und Lydford House), der Ort selber ist historisch und super hübsch. Man kann direkt um den Ort tolle Wanderungen unternehmen und erreicht mit dem Auto auch recht kurzfristig die Küste. Wir sind über 1.300km angefahren - und jeder einzelne Meter war es ...

„Wir (2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder im Alter von 14 und 11) haben hier etwas mehr als eine Woche verbracht und die Zeit sehr genossen. Alles war so wie beschrieben. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und liegt ruhig an einer Nebenstraße. Die Vermieterin achtet sehr darauf, dass sich ihre Gäste wohl fühlen. Das gelingt ihr auch absolut. Das Haus ist uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert.“

„I had quite high hopes for this cottage and had seen it a few times before and not booked for one reason or another. I am so pleased I did. It is in a gorgeous position on a quiet lane overlooking fields and completely private and quiet. The stream at the front makes a wonderful sound and always made me happy. The gardens go around the house which is nice for exploring and we didn’t spend any time in the garden really (it was October) but the table and chairs made me think how lovely it would be ...
