This property was perfect providing a place to gather and entertain our kids from town while offering a plenty of space for our two out of town children and mother-in-law who stayed the weekend. „One pleasant surprise was a beautiful hike up a mountain right off the back of the property. “

„We had a great stay at this cabin! The place was very clean and the hot tub was nice. The bed was very comfortable also which is always a plus when sleeping away from home. We even seen a few deer right across the road while cooking outside. The area is absolutely beautiful with so many places to see nest things within a half hour! Very scenic place overall around there. The only real improvements I would suggest would be curtains or blinds on the door and window in kitchen for a sense of more ...

„We stayed at the Sparrows Nest as a stop over point for a longer trip. This is by far the best VRBO experience we've had. The house was beautiful, set amongst trees so we could bird watch from the living room. The amenities in the house were on par with a 4 star hotel as well. We couldnt have been happier.“

„The cabin is clean with a gorgeous view. My sister and I met there and had a great time exploring in the park, cooking/dining in the cabin and hanging out on the deck. We slept very well in the comfortable beds after a soothing whirlpool tub.“

„Had a great time at the cabin. It had everything we needed for our stay. The cabin was very quiet and comfortable. We hiked all day in the beautiful New River Gorge, Hawksnest State Park, and Babcock State Park. Saw hundreds of waterfalls after all the rain. The hot tub was just what we needed after long days on the trails. The only thing I would suggest is a hot tub cover lift as the cover was heavy and difficult to get back on. Other than that everything was great. We would definitely return ...

„Everything was well taken care. Staff was super nice. Our view was amazing and look forward to staying again soon.“

„The cabin was nice, in a quiet neighborhood, with a beautiful view. The only downside was that the towns nearby were sleepers, with nothing to do and terrible restaurants, our biggest entertainment was going to the Farm Store to see baby chickens. The Inn in Berkeley was higher priced,and the food was awful. We ended up at the Food Lion, getting groceries and cooking our own meals. “

"Room was clean but a bit worn. Lobby is nicely refinished. Breakfast wasn't too good (few, unhealthy choices; area not well cleaned; all plastic and paper utensils...not very European). Staff were friendly and helpful."

"Das Hotel ist sehr alt und abgewohnt. Der Service im Restaurant war schlecht. Am überfüllten Pool gab es keinen Service. Zu wenig Liegen und zu wenig Tücher. Die Zimmer sind sehr ringhörig, man kann jedes Wort von den Nachbarzimmern mithören. Insgesamt keine gute Erfahrung."
