"Sehr schöne Unterkunft, Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Eigentlich war mein gebuchtes Zimmer nur über Treppen erreichbar, da ich aber vier Tage vorher eine Fußverletzung erlitt, war ein Treppensteigen fast unmöglich. Es wurde sich sehr bemüht, ein Zimmer zu ebener Erde zu finden, da das Hotel fast ausgebucht war. Aber ich bekam ein sehr schönes Zimmer im Nebengebäude, welches auch wirklich zauberhaft war. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis top. Gesamtes Personal höflich und zuvorkommend. Absolute Empfehlung"

"Well, we knew that 'Oakley Court' had served as a location for several horror films - and so we were expecting a 'spooky' stay. And, indeed, it is a 'horror castle'. But inside it is friendly, comfortable and romantic. The staff are extremely friendly, the rooms are absolutely fantastic - very luxurious - with marvellous views of gardens and flowers. In the evening we walked across the lawns, past the flowers and trees and sat down in comfortable arm chairs next to the Thames river and watched the wild life, with gin and tonics in our hands - and there were the bats flying around the turrets of the mansion/castle - the only time that 'horror' entered the picture. The rowing boats drifted by as the sun set and we descended into a heavenly atmosphere. Back at the hotel we had dinner - absolutely delicious. Oakle Court is an absolute dream 'hotel' - we will definitely come again and again - and highly recommend Oakley Court as an overnight stay where one can fully relax in a romantic and beautiful atmosphere! "Tolle Lage! Kostenlos parkieren. Älteres Haus, alles ist schief. Wir hatten ein kleines Zimmer. Die Böden knarren laut... du kannst nur hoffen, dass deine Nachbarn nicht zu spät heimkommen und herumlaufen. Frühstück ok."
