„The hand drawn map they gave us was hard to follow and when we got lost on the mountain, they were less than helpful. The one lane road up the mountain has steep cliffs and not many places to pull over or turn around. Once we arrived the cabin was so relaxing and the waterfall was beautiful & serene. The jetted tub was very relaxing. We ate all our meals at the cabin & their cookware was very nice. The stove was old, but worked fine.“

„This place is good if you plan on being out adventuring and exploring all day and just need a place to sleep and shower. It is small so there isn't really a place to just hang out inside but it is a really good value with all the amenities you need. The cabin is close to pretty much anywhere you want to go in the Red.“

„We arrived and were blown away right from the start. It was such a beautiful place. The gate and the bridge to get onto the property made it even more magical. The cabin does have a lot of steps but it was worth every one. We packed light per the recommendations and happy we did. The cabin was covered in snow and ice which made it even more magical to look at and explore. We walked both paths to check out the chairs on the hill and by the waterfall. „This property was amazingly unique! Having only an outdoor shower and the closed in bathroom outside also. We were there right after Hurricane Helene hit. So that was interesting 😂. But I would 10/10 recommend to anyone. I would definitely keep the season/weather in mind though. There is a mini split keeping it cool. And space heaters to turn on when it’s cold. “

Of note a few items that would have been helpful to know: the drive up to the house is very steep and there is a big pot hole in the middle of the road so my little civic was battling, there were no extra blankets on the property other than the ones on the bed which would have been fine if we came in June but we came in January and the thermostat couldn’t get above 67 and there was a draft along with a window being left open prior to arrival. ...

„Over all the stay was great… a few things though I noticed a few spots that could have been cleaned better.. and was rather disappointed to find the charcoal grill with no charcoal, I think the listing should have said it was a charcoal grill so I knew to bring charcoal. Luckily we had a camping grill with us that we could use and the grill was not cleaned out by the last person or the host it was plumb full of ash..“

„I absolutely did not want to leave!!! Everything was just perfect. It’s only an hour from my home… I will, without a doubt, book this gem again!! Can’t wait for summer/fall to go back and hike and see the waterfalls surrounding the area. 3 highlights would be… private, games and entertainment provided, and #1… the cookware was awesome. „My fiance and I decided to stay for a weekend (kind of spur of the moment 4 our Xmas gifts & anniversary) and we couldn't have asked for a better place!! The location was super close to everything and the property itself was everything it was supposed to be plus more. „What a beautiful cabin! We have stayed at many different cabins in the area over the last few years and this is hands down our most favorite cabin!! So roomy, clean, and beautiful inside and out! We were only there for two nights and we did not want to leave. The beds are very cozy too! We hiked Suzanna’s Arch for the first time before we headed home which was beautiful too. Thank you for including that arch in the book. We will be back! “

„In die Jahre gekommene Hemlock Lodge mitten im State Park. Am Hang gelegen und mitten im Wald, viele Vögel und Eichhörnchen aber wenig Blick. Gute Betten aber Möbiliar und Badezimmer sind alt zuweisen zahlreiche Gebrauchspuren auf. Alle Zimmer haben großen Balkon. Leider nicht allzu sauber. Im angeschlossen Restaurant gab es sowohl morgens als auch abends Buffet. Preiswert aber auch nur allenfalls durchschnittlich gut. Die Natural Bridge kann man zu Fuß in einer 3/4 Stunde erreichen.
