„The property owners were very nice and helpful. Check-in was easy. The reference in the listing to a picnic on the beach seems mis-leading. You do have a nice view over the river and we had a pretty sunset but no beach. The house looks nicer in the pictures than in person although it is large and accommodated our needs. There are a lot DIY renovations that pretty odd but didn't really interfere with our stay. Just not as luxurious as represented. I should acknowledge I manage some rental ...

„Great place to stay. The Manor House was located in a private setting in the woods on a secluded road on top a scenic hilltop along the Illinois river valley. Checking in was easy and accommodating. The Manor House was stocked with everything you will need for your stay. The decor was unique and well kept. The house was clean in every aspect. By far the best place we have stayed in the Peoria area to date. I hope to stay at The Manor House next year. “

„Organizing a college reunion was difficult, but this place and the host made it much, much easier. Between the quick responses, the great amenities, and the very comfortable rooms, everyone had a great time!“

„We were in town for homecoming weekend and I was thrilled to find this VRBO near campus and downtown. It was spacious and we were able to fit a pack n play in both bedrooms. The AC worked well and having a full kitchen, large table, and washer and dryer accessible was really convenient for our family. The host was easy to communicate with and even went the extra mile to ship us back a baby monitor we forgot.“

„The house is a block off Main Street but quiet. The Main Street has several fun and good restaurants. The house is dated but very clean and has basics of everything needed. Comfortable bed. Hot water. Good air conditioning and heat. Pleasant stay“

„It’s was simply amazing!! Commutation with the host was very prompt, and delightful. The house was perfect everything that you could have needed was there. 5 stars just isn’t enough to rate the house and host. “
