„The little cabin was great for my wife & I. It was spacious enough we could hang inside or access the back deck & lawn area near the lakeside. We cruised around the lake on the gravel roads & we enjoyed the peacful country side. Not much traffic & everyone we ran into was kind & courteous.“

„Just what our family needed- weekend getaway to escape the city and unplug. Little cabin with a lot to offer. We grilled out several meals, enjoyed the campfire, did a lot of hiking, and caught several fish in the cove down the hill. Will be back!“

„Cute cabin with all the things you need to cook with and accommodated 5 of us easily. There were small touches that just made the cabin and area super cozy feeling and we immediately felt comfortable and relaxed in the cabin. The outside also had personal touches as well with a backyard setup that was enjoyable and fun to be in! „Five sibling over 75 years oldstayed here for a family wedding. It's no secret this house is old.The interior is well maintained, and beautifully furnished with everything thing we needed. We especially liked the big dining table.The beds were wonderful. We walked to the Bruncherie for late breakfast..The steep steps to second floor bedroom swere a little daunting.“

„The house was so comfortable and had everything one might need for a great stay in Iola. The kitchen had plenty of cooking supplies. Beds were very comfortable and tv channel and livestream options were great. We were there during the holiday season and the house had plenty of Christmas decorations, including a lighted tree. Enjoyed our stay very much!“

„So there is a super awesome dog named Denali who welcomes you as soon as you get there... she likes to show you where everything is by gently taking your hand and walking you around the property it is amazing then there are the goats and the cats and the sweet little pig named Bertha you cannot ,not have a good time ample place to walk it's just beautiful and peaceful you have to check this place out“

They treated us as family and were absolutely the best! I cannot say enough positive things about the house and the host. If 10 stars were available they would deserve every one of them!“
