„This property was exactly how it was described! Nestled in the hills, super cozy, and welcoming feeling. My partner, pups and I had a lovely time here, hiking, skiing at Bristol Mountain Resort, and enjoying the serene landscape, especially the surprise waterfall in the backyard! The hot tub was an amazing bonus after a long day of skiing. Perfect way to ring in the New Year! We will definitely be back! “

The surrounding area was beautiful and we enjoyed walking in the snow covered woods on the property. We enjoyed our time at Grouse Haven so much that we hated to leave. Phyllis was a delight to get to know and was very helpful to us. We can’t wait to make a return visit to this lovely property.“

„Loved the place and the remoteness. The water pump wasn't working, but a solution was promptly provided. It wasn't the best situation, but it worked. Also, the second bed appeared to be a mattress pad behind the main bed. We ended up just sharing the bed for the duration of the stay. Would return, but would love those issues/inaccuracies to be fixed.“

„It is a great location rain or shine. The central living room is undersold online as we have had groups as big as 7 indoors all day due to rain without being on top of each other. Everything you need for your stay is there, and if it isn't Mary is able to help. Really a great little spot to relax and enjoy yourself. “

The property though, needs to have the addition of a TV and DVD movie selections. We brought a portable DVD player with us. This could be easily added to the lower level room. „This was a wonderful little cabin to stay in during the winter. The inside was nice and cozy with the little fireplace, and the view outside with all the snow was beautiful. The owners gave clear check-in and check-out information that was easy to follow, and the background information about the cabin was a nice touch. „Nice place on the lake, very quiet and private, everything is included in the rental, nothing really to bring (except keurig coffee pods) Plenty of room we had a family of 8 including small children. The kitchen was a bit crowded, the furniture the house is on the older side. But overall nice place to rent. We would recommend. Thank you for your hospitality. “

"Während unseres Aufenthalts wurde der Teppichboden in unserem Zimmer unangekündigt nass gereinigt. Der Boden war feucht, als wir am Abend ins Zimmer kamen, die Koffer wurden auf das Bett gelegt und es roch unerträglich. Das Personal der Rezeption hat schulterzuckend auf unsere Beschwerde wegen des nassen Bodens reagiert. Es wird ausschließlich Plastikbesteck und -geschirr verwendet. Nicht zeitgemäß! "
