„The room was small. Bed comfortable. I like that I could walk in all directions in the neighborhood and find stores, restaurants, markets. We had construction noise early in the morning. Parking was a bit tricky but they do have it for an extra charge. It was a nice stay and I would visit again and recommend.“

„Great location in the heart of the Gaslamp district, close to everything. Although it’s an older property and the entrance and elevator is basic, the unit was comfortable with beautiful skylights in the kitchen and living room. The unit was well stocked for anything we needed. Towels and bedding were clean and good quality. The WiFi worked well. It’s noisy at night but earplugs were provided. „We had the best weekend trip. Easy access to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. Excellent communication with owner. We will definitely stay here again. “

„This is a really good option if you want to be close to downtown. Lots of good restaurants, bars, museums, ect. to see in a walkable distance. Just make sure to bring earplugs because this property is directly under the flight path for planes landing at the airport, they pass over only a couple hundred feet overhead continuously all day but slack off at night. Overall I enjoyed it. “

„We arrived a bit early on the first day, to kind of scope out the area. Once in the VRBO unit, we were happy to see how clean the unit was. Cleaning products left quite a strong odor inside, so we opened the windows and left for a bit. My girlfriend was very excited about the unit and the location and some sun. „Really enjoyed my stay here - very well-kept, just enough space for me and a guest, and had everything we needed. Thomas made it easy. Great area and plenty of parking too. You could occasionally hear noise from people walking or clearing their throat on the floor above, but it was never too loud or distracting. I highly recommend this cozy La Jolla getaway!“

„The house was nice and clean and the perfect size! It is walking distance from the beach and lots of bars and restaurants. The host was very helpful and gave us lots of good places to check out in the area. He communicated check in/check out information very well with us. We had the best time celebrating the new year in San Diego! “

„Kaffeekocher, Milrowellenherd, Kühlschrank, wunderbare Lage, tägliche Reinigung. In dieser Hinsicht super und würde wieder kommen. Allerdings lag mein Zimmer Richtung Straße, in sofern war Nachts sämtlicher Straßenverkehr sehr stark wahrnehmbar, vor allem, da die Fenster und die Türen nicht abdichteten. Dennoch würde ich diese Unterkunft wieder wählen, da das Bett absolut bequem war 😊“

"We loved the pool area and lush and tropical planting. The location is absolutely perfect to visit La Jolla, Mission Beach, Old Town and Downtown SD with Little Italy. Also many shoping opertunities nearby. Had just a fantastic stay. We‘ll come again to this dreamy bungalow style resort. "

"check-in nicht der schnellste ... valet parking OK, aber sehr teuer mit $ 65 pro tag ... room service : fruehstueck >>> fast food, geringe qualitaet, geliefert in plastic box :-(( ... dinner >>> pizza und chicken sandwich OK, aber auch in boxes mit plastik besteck serviert :-(( ... schade fuer ein hotel mit dieser sternebewertung !!! zimmer schoen, aber im gesamten schwache leistung in room service !!!"

Flair der 1970er Jahre

"Ein sehr großes Haus, das sich über drei Gebäudeteile erstreckt. Wir waren im Tower 3 in der 2. Etage und fühlten uns in 1970er Jahre zurückversetzt. Alles alt und abgenutzt. Das Restaurant passt sich eins zu eins dem Zimmer an. Alt und dunkel. Wir hatten das Haus gewählt weil es sehr nahe der Waterfront liegt und ein kostenloser Shuttleservice zwischen Airport und Hotel angeboten wird. Bei Ankunft am Airport mussten wir dann feststellen, dass fast alle anderen Hotels den gleichen Service anbieten. "
