„The hotel is situated near a noisy road, by car easily accessible though. In the moment a new building next door is under construction. The room we had was standard, same as the other parts of tge hotel. But the breakfast was exceptional by English standards with fresh fruit salat and a big choice.“

„Large house with plenty of rooms but apart from the odd door closing the only other noise was from the Minster hourly bells . We were in room 5 with a nice view over the park. Only negative was the bed was not comfy. But all in all a reasonable stay.“

„The Emerald Residence is a good option for a slightly cheaper stay in York, as it's a bus ride from the centre. Buses are regular (Route 7 to the Park & Ride or route 415 to Selby depart from different points in the city centre - route 7 is the one to use from the railway station, but there are no buses early on Sunday morning). „Gute Lage, Zentrum von York ist zu Fuss gut erreichbar. Das Hotel ist an einigen Stellen Renovierungsbedürftig. Parkplatz vor Ort vorhanden. Für eine Nacht eine gute Wahl für einen nicht übertriebenen Preis. Das Frühstück ist leider nicht im Preis inbegriffen, deswegen würde ich lieber woanders frühstücken. “

„we had a clean and lovely studio apartment . only minus points were the view on the car park next door from our studio and to pay extra for the parking. check in and out was very easy and the mini kiosk had reasonable prices. overall we had a great stay and enjoyed it very much :)“

„We stayed here for a couple of nights for a long weekend exploring the Yorkshire Wolds. The location is great, being close to a few larger towns like Driffield and Pocklington, but also close to some amazing walking including a stretch of the Yorkshire Wolds Way. The room was really lovely, the staff friendly, and the food and beer fantastic. We will definitely stay again when we're next out this way! “
