Enjoy the generous 1300 square foot wrap around deck for relaxing or entertaining in the day and stargazing at night. This captivating 4/2, with the master downstairs, has an open kitchen and living area and also an extra den/sitting room upstairs. There are tons of windows throughout to bring the outdoors inside. Starview Lodge is tastefully furnished and the kitchen and amenities are fully equipped. Situated at the end of a very quiet cul-de-sac with 7 other homes provides quiet privacy.

Starview Lodge is located in Kachina Village, in a quiet cul de sac with 7 other homes. It is a small suburb 5 miles south of Flagstaff and NAU. It is surrounded by hiking and biking trails, a family-friendly county park is at the entrance and historic downtown Flagstaff is about 15 minutes away.

The location is the perfect home base for Snowbowl Ski Resort, Sedona, Grand Canyon, Painted Desert, volcanic crater fields, Wupatki National Monument, and more!

Beautiful Log Cabin House
This log cabin house was absolutely gorgeous. Everything was so clean so comfortable. The beds were comfortable. Everything was accommodating. We just loved it. The house is stunning everything about it is just beautiful our host, Matt. Was great. we went there as a family to celebrate our son‘s 30th birthday and had the best time. Great memories were made. I highly recommend this beautiful log cabin house. The price was perfect. We all around. Had a great time and would love to come stay at this house again thank you Matt for your beautiful home. We had the best time ever the place was immaculate accommodating in every way the snow was perfect. The outer deck is gorgeous. It was fully stocked with everything that you could possibly need. This is a great place to stay if you’re going to Flagstaff.

First time users on Vrbo and let me tell you…it was a great experience! Place was just as described and seen from the pictures. Process of check in and check out was simple and easy. There were rules which we expected and they were simple and didn’t cause any issues with any of us to follow. Place with clean and organized. Also good amount of stuff provided for our use(tried not to use anything). Amazing few days and will use again in later future! Thank you for providing us with an amazing time!!!

Should be named Goldilocks cabin?
One bed was lumpy, the other was hard, another was saggy and only one was just right. My daughter is 18 and she woke up like a 81 year old! One of us ended up sleeping on the couch which was more comfortable than any of the beds. You should buy a new plunger too because the one provided was wood which was cracked, which could not unplug a toilet if it tried… The view and location were beautiful! But the cabin could use some maintenance. Unfortunately the oven was nasty. It needs a deep clean. You were worried about people using the fireplace to roast marshmallows, but I think you should be more worried about what people stick in the oven. One another note; one of the steps was wobbly, it is not bad right now but could pose a future problem FYI. The cabin itself was nice but the wood needs to be sealed so the house/cabin doesn’t fall into disarray. We enjoyed our stay and our time up there. please don’t get us wrong, it was fun. I just didn’t want to be blamed for all the problems in the cabin so I took pictures and waited patiently.

FAMILY VACATION TO GRAND CANYON / 5 people
My family stayed at the cabin from Sept. 14th -21st. The cabin was located in a quiet neighborhood and was everything that it was advertised to be. We were centrally located so we were too not far from the Grand Canyon and everything that we wanted to visit. Weather...this was our first time in Arizona, so we enjoyed the enjoyed the cool mornings at the cabin. There is no central air-conditioning, but the cabin does have heating, so we were never uncomfortable once it warmed up during the day. The cabin has a full-size washer & dryer, so we were able to keep up with our laundry. Large kitchen with everything that you need in it. We loved it here and will definitely come back to Arizona in the future!! Thanks for the memories!! -- "The Louisiana People!"

Very nice cabin, spacious, very well stocked. Had a wonderful 2 week stay, the surrounding area is beautiful. Enjoyed walking the neighborhoods, did several scenic trails and local hikes. Good kitchen, decent bathrooms, comfortable living area, and nice deck surrounding the entire cabin. Some of the furniture needs updating. Overall, a real nice place. I would definitely try to stay there again for future trips to Flagstaff.

Nice log cabin, but overpriced
Cabin is very nice construction-wise. Cheapish looking furnishings xcept dining. Uncomfortable sofa, Master bed is soft, one bed upstairs like a rock, all are extremely small for adults, except Master. No ceiling fans in any bedrooms, plastic box fans provided. Several windows appear to not open throughout house, but Matt stated they did. We could not determine how. So could not open guest BR windows. Upstairs gets very hot and stuffy. Master BR had no windows, just a door. Couldn't leave open after dark because insects came in. Several windows do not have screens, and neither do any doors. Flying insects came in after dark. Kitchen cooktop does not have an exhaust fan for airborne grease. Master bath does not have a real door. It has a partial shutter that covers you from your shoulders to your calves. So there is no privacy. That window does have a screen but has slight damage to it so small gnats still come in. Drain in shower/tub very slow. I advise leaving home EXACTLY as it was at check in and follow all rules in book to the letter or you'll get a text from Matt stating everything you did not do to his satisfaction. We moved the two sitting chairs in Master slightly to have room for our dog crates, and did not put them back exactly where they were. Also I mistakenly did not put back a metal dog corral from deck to front porch. Minor mistake. One of my dogs pooped in upstairs BR morning we were checking out and I missed it. I apologized profusely. My fault completely.

Cozy, clean and just like home
We stayed at this wonderful property with our family for a wedding. Ages 27 to 62 with a two year old and two dogs. The property was very clean, very comfortable and in just a very beautiful location. Very nice and quiet neighborhood . Check in was super easy. All the rooms and beds were very cozy and comfortable. The house was clean and free of clutter. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

Wonderful Place in a Beautiful Neighborhood
It’s a nice large log home with plenty of room for a big group or family. It’s a high elevation home so very temperate in the summer. The large deck on the back of the home is a wonderful place to relax in the woods and watch the sunset through the trees. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds are comfortable. Check in and out is super easy.
