Das Apartment (70 qm) liegt im historischen Zentrum von Florenz, direkt an der 'Piazza San Marco', einer der schönsten historischen Plätze der Stadt. Die Wohnung befindet sich im 5. Stock (ohne Aufzug) eines historischen Palastes des 18. Jahrhunderts. Dank dieser Lage ist die Wohnung sehr ruhig. Vom Balkon sowie von allen Fenstern aus genießen Sie eine atemberaubende Aussicht über Florenz und seine Denkmäler.
Von der Küche (Kühlschrank, Gefrierfach, Spülmaschine, Ofen, Gas-Herd) treten Sie auf den geräumigen Balkon, auf dem Sie Ihr Frühstück einnehmen können während Sie die wundervolle Aussicht über die San Marco Kathedrale und die Hügel von Fiesole genießen. Das Apartment hat darüber hinaus ein geräumiges Wohn-/ Esszimmer (Fernseher), zwei Schlafzimmer (mit einem überwältigenden Blick auf den Dom von Florenz) und ein modernes Badezimmer mit Dusche. Alle berühmten Museen und Denkmäler von Florenz sind in kürzester Zeit zu Fuß zu erreichen.


Anreisemöglichkeit: Mit dem Auto: A1 Bologna - Firenze, Ausfahrt Firenze Nord, Richtung Zentrum, über den Stadtring ('Viale Circondaria') in Richtung Piazza della Libertà- Parkmöglichkeit 'Parterre' an der Piazza della Libertà.

Mit dem Zug: Florenz Hauptbahnhof (Santa Maria Novella) - 2 Minuten mit dem Taxi oder alle Buslinien Richtung San Marco.

Ab Flughafen: 15-20 Minuten mit dem Taxi oder per Bus (Narvette, die Fahrkarte kann man im Bus kaufen) bis zum Hauptbahnhof, dann umsteigen in eine Bus in Richtung San Marco

Auskünfte zur Umgebung: Die Ferienwohnung in Florenz befindet sich an einem der zentralen Plätze der Stadt (Piazza San Marco) im historischen Zentrum der Stadt.

Diesem Stadtteil hat Cosimo il Vecchio seinen Stempel aufgedrückt. In den Gemäuern dieses Viertels war einst die Menagerie der Medici untergebracht. Heute liegt hier das Studentenviertel, und während des Semesters ist die Piazza San Marco stets von jungen Leuten bevölkert, die auf den Beginn ihrer Vorlesungen oder Kunstkurse warten. Die 1563 gegründetet Accademia di Belli Arti ist die älteste Kunstakademie der Welt und geht auf Michelangelo zurück.

Das angrenzende Viertel um die San Lorenzo Kirche umgibt ein Marktplatz, und das dort stattfindende bunte Markttreiben erinnert daran, daß Florenz seit jeher eine Stadt der Kaufleute war. Sehr schöne Wohnung im Herzen von Florenz
Die Wohnung liegt sehr günstig im Zentrum von Florenz, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt sind zu Fuss erreichbar. Vom Balkon hat man eine wunderbare Aussicht auf Fiesole, vom Schlafzimmer aus kann man den Dom sehen. Die Wohnung befindet sich im 6. Stock, 97 Stufen muss man bewältigen, aber es lohnt sich!

Die Wohnung war sehr angenehm. Schöne Aussicht auf San Marco und den Dom.
Das Bild von der Terrasse ist irreführend. Sie ist viel kleiner als dargestellt und wegen des massiven Ventilators der Klimaanlage nicht zu benutzen. In der Nacht stören die gluckernden Geräusche. Die Klimaanlagen sind nicht per Thermostat regelbar.

Accademia is literally around the corner. Duomo is 5 mins away. Uffizzi is 15 mins away. The view of the Duomo from the bedroom was enchanting. We felt like locals. Tiberio was very helpful. We highly recommend this place and would return in a heartbeat.

Wonderful Location and Beautiful Views
We stayed for 5 weeks in this apartment and it was so comfortable and the kitchen worked well for cooking. Great balcony overlooking the piazza with hillside views. Views of the Duomo from the primary bedroom. The host, Tiberio, was wonderful with suggestions and helping us secure soccer tickets for a Florentina game. Would definitely stay there again.

Luxury apartment by the Duomo
We stayed two nights in this beautifully appointed apartment. This spot had luxurious linens, a great kitchen and living room. Very comfy bedroom with a drop dead gorgeous view of the Duomo. The host was accommodating and allowed us to drop off our luggage early. One caveat, there are roughly 200 steps from the street level to the front door. The view was well worth it. Very close to markets and good restaurants. Would like to go back someday.

We are very grateful we could have access to this property. It is well located, quiet and has more amenities than we needed. The check-in and check-out processes were simple and friendly. The host answered quickly and their support (including the resourceful binder inside the apartment) were really helpful. We will definitely be renting this property again should we visit Florence in a near future. Traveling often comes with a certain level of stress and hope that thing will go as expected. Really great apartment, excellent location, 2 small supermarkets within 2 mins (recommend Conad over Carrefore for price and variety) also really good takeaway food in the square, arrancini etc. Florence so small everything is easily walkable and of course David is literally your neighbour! Recommend San Marco museum over the road. Apartment is spacious, view breathtaking, air con kept us cool in 37 deg. Beds comfy and apartment is well equipped and we enjoyed the balcony for our morning cup.of tea. Would recommend!

Wonderful apartment to explore a beautiful city!
My husband, grown son & I stayed at Tiberio's apartment for two nights while we explored the beauty of Florence. Everything was as described & fit our needs perfectly. We loved enjoying morning coffee on the terrace & the view of the duomo from the master bedroom is incredible. Grazie mille! As the listing mentions, this apartment is up many flights of stairs. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with mobility concerns but it was great for us. (I earned my gelato by climbing them!)

We had a great stay at Florence and glad we had this Vrbo close to many sites. We did know we had 5 floors of stairs to get to our room but wished the AC actually worked better in common living area. Worked great in bedroom. Wasnt too much of an issue since we were out most of day. Tiberio was kind, organized, and informative. We did have trouble with the wifi being spotty but we did okay. Overall, good spot to be near San Marco neighborhood, walking distance to dumo! We enjoyed our stay.

We loved the location of this apartment and the views were amazing. We had a few issues with cleanliness when we arrived however these were immediately addressed by Tiberio and his wife. Do however be aware of the 6 flights of stairs to get to the apartment, but the views were worthwhile. It should also be noted that the AC was not available at all times. Despite minor issues I would recommend staying here,

Fabulous Firenze steps away from David!
Our stay in Florence was much too short which means we will just have to go back! Tiberio and his daughter Letizia greeted us warmly and showed us around their spectacular apartment. The view from the patio is incredible and you can even see the Duomo from the bedroom window which was gorgeous at sunset and during the night. Accademia which houses Michaelangelo's David is literally around the corner and all the main attractions of Firenze are within walking distance. Many delicious food options of course nearby. The only warning would be for people with mobility issues. It is 5 floors to the top with no lift/elevator but that is the norm in Europe and we were young/capable enough it didn't affect us. Tiberio is an excellent host and kept in close contact with us to make sure everything went smoothly. I would highly recommend his place to anyone wanting to stay in the heart of Florence.

Underbar vecka i Florence :)
Vi hade en fantastisk vecka i Tiberos och Gabriellas lägenhet! Nära till allt och en underbar utsikt över staden. Vi spenderade några kvällar på terrassen till stadens ljud och sov gott då det är tyst och lugnt trots ett centralt läge. Vi fick ett fint mottagande när vi kom till Firenze av Tiberos fru Gabriella och dotter, samt att vi snabbt fick hjälp att förboka en taxi tillbaka till flygplatsen. Lägenheten är välutrustad och det fanns både hårtork och plattång mm mm. Gott om utrymmen att förvara kläder mm och mycket fräscht och välstädat. Vi fick på köpet bra motion efter de 100 trappstegen upp till lägenheten :) Vi kommer gärna tillbaka!

Amazing Views
We stayed for a week in Oct 23. We found the location perfect for food, attractions, and transportation. We especially enjoyed the view of the Doumo from the bedroom and the view of San Marco Square from the balcony. We had wine on it every night. The stairs are real but not an issue for us (we are early 61 & 57). Tiberio was excellent through the entire process.

Wonderful 5 night stay
We had a fantastic stay at Tiberio’s apartment. He was so kind to allow us to drop off our baggage prior to check in and gave us a full walk through of the place. He was warm, kind, and very friendly. The view of the Duomo was a perk as well as a small terrace to look over the piazza. There are many restaurants nearby as well as a grocery store. It was a huge surprise that the museum with Michelangelo’s David was right around the corner! I would recommend Tiberio’s place without hesitation.

Perfecte ligging om Firenze te verkennen. Parkeren kan niet bij het appartement maar er zijn genoeg parkings in de omgeving die je op voorhand kan boeken. De trappen naar de 5e verdieping moet je erbij nemen. Stromend water is niet evident in dit hoog gelegen appartement: de waterdruk is wisselvallig. De winkel is om de hoek en je hebt een bakker en restaurant op het San Marco plein. De communicatie met de eigenaar was zeer goed. Tiberio, de eigenaar, beantwoordt steeds al je vragen. Er is WiFi en dit werkt ook op het terras met zicht op het klooster van San Marco. Indien we Firenze opnieuw bezoeken, dan verblijf ik er opnieuw. Dank aan Tiberio!

Best balcony in Firenze
Our family of 4 absolutely loved this place. The balcony was our highlight every night with the views, the entertainment from the piazza below and local beer and wine and snacks from the market around the corner. We walked to everything from here. Plus there is a fabulous bread shop and a cafe that had the best croissants, espressos, desserts and pizza right below as recommended by our host.

A wonderful retreat right on top of central Florence
Tiberio’s apartment offers a spacious retreat with amazing views of the Duomo and the mountains surrounding Florence—all a stone’s throw from the Duomo and in walking distance to all of the city’s offerings. The kitchen is well-appointed and includes all the basics and some extras necessary to cook (salt, pepper, sugar, flour, oil, vinegar, etc). Tiberio is a kind host, attentive to providing you an enjoyable stay. And the stairs, while certainly not suitable for someone with mobility issues, will make you feel less guilty for all the gelato you’ll consume! The view is most worthwhile. I hope to return again soon.
