"A very old stone building very nicely renovated and modernized. Our room had small windows but the stone fireplace and old sink were gorgeous; the A/C worked great. We had the hotel breakfast one morning--it was fine, reasonable cost; but there are plenty of cafés nearby as well. Alda corp evidently runs several similar hotels in Santiago. "

"This place is a combination of a hostel and a hotel. Can’t rate the hostel even though I am sure that it is good. But the hotel - two penthouse suites - is a marvelous place. It is immaculately clean, has all the necessary amenities and more, the owner is obliging and nice. A five star service for very little money. Highly recommended. "

"Cozy and luminous loft right downtown Santiago with direct views of the Cathedral. It is small, but well arranged with all the essentials. Bathroom has shower, not bath, and is a bit tight, but otherwise OK. Five minutes walk (or less) from Cathedral in the middle of the old town. Borja was an excellent and attentive host. Really enjoyed our stay!"

"The apartment was well-equipped in a quiet building with good views. Our young adult sons did not find the sofa bed comfortable to sleep on. We really enjoyed the beautiful swimming pool and hiking along the River Tea. The buffet dinner in the hotel opposite was excellent."

"This is my second stay at this property, and we came back because we love the location and the view. The unit is cozy and is well equipped with the necessary kitchenware, appliances etc. to have a comfortable stay. A note to travelers: this unit is on the 4th floor and the building has no elevator/lift--this is not uncommon in Spain for similar buildings. However I'm noting it here for anyone who is coming from the U.S. and expects an elevator, or folks who might have health-related issues...

"This place was amazing, the experience is the reason to stay. The rooms, courtyards and location was such an experience in itself. I realized that this was the end of the road for hikers/bikers on their pilgrimage. I have friends who did this but didn’t realize we stayed at the ending point.
