„This was a surprising find. So clean! Im very picky and there was no vacancies at any of our normal hotels. We found this little gem and i couldnt have been happier. So clean. Rooms updated. All american style. Staff is hard working and kind. One downside was that there is plastic on the beds and it definitely gets to warm for this mentalpausal women! Lol! But the bed itself, very comfy. Would of lijed to had a bigger bed but non available. Great hotel. “

„This is a Hunter's cabin. Nothing real fancy. Bathroom is not in the same cottage, it's in another cottage across the driveway. The host is very nice. This cottage is in a very peaceful location. “

„In a nicely secluded neighborhood on the Lake. Very Clean, big deck on the house, updated interior. The lake view is the best. Right on the lake with big windows to see everything. Wonderful to wake up to. Heat was perfect for our stay in November. Will definitely stay here again if we are ever in Gwinn. “

„Great location for ice fishing and snowmobile riding. Up North Lodge restaurant/bar is only minutes away with a great menu selection.We rented two cabins which were perfect for our party of 8. Kitchens are a bit small, but have everything you need for cooking meals. Host was great to work with.“

„We were bird hunting in the UP with my dog. Hosts were very nice, friendly and really wanted to make sure we were comfortable. On first impression it's a bit more civilized than our typical hunting camp. Overall, very nice, comfortable beds and furniture, we slept well after a hard day in the woods. We didn't spend any real daylight time there checking out the lake or anything. Overall, great stay. There's always a few quirks but for us it was great! Thanks“

„The location is quiet and private.There are 5 cottages and a main house so you have some privacy. The cottages are nice and have all your necessities. The view of the lake is beautiful! „I booked the house for the Marji Gesick mountain bike race. I had five friends travel with me as a support crew. The house was excellent for our needs. Plenty of beds and 1.5 bathrooms. A well stocked and large kitchen and plenty of living space. Outdoors was a nice grill, screened in house on the lake and a canoe. I caught a pike right off the dock Friday! „This place was amazing with the water on both sides. It offered something for everyone in our group kyaking, fishing, bonfires. Parking was a bit tight as we had four trucks and trailers with side by sides but we were able to make it work. We had a wonderful time riding the trails during the day and hanging out playing cards and sitting around the campfire at night. Would love to come back during the summer and again next fall. a great hangout spot “

„We had a great time staying at this location. It is very peaceful and there are not many other houses on the lake. Great fishing as well! The only recommendation I would have is to place a humidifier in the basement as it is a little sticky down there. Otherwise great place to stay “
