Beautiful quiet beach right out the back door

Come put your feet in the sand at our ground floor, beachfront condo on the Emerald Coast. You can hear the waves breaking as you sit on your back porch. Escape from the crowds to our 2 bedroom 1 bath condo located on the west end of Okaloosa Island. This small complex is a very appealing for both families and couples wanting to get away from it all.
The location of the condo is ideal. You will be miles away from the crowds, but only minutes away from all the attractions, restaurants, and nightlife that Fort Walton and Destin have to offer!

Beautiful
It was a beautiful place to stay. We loved the beach access and how room the condo was. However, the tv remote for the living room lags so bad that we were unable to watch basically anything at all. We ended up watching the iPad instead or just going to the bee rooms to watch tv. It was very clean tho and the communication was great. We were allow our pets and had so much fun. They had chairs and towels for us to borrow and sand supplies to! Which was great for the kids. Parking was easy and it is a quiet neighborhood And there was almost no one around us on the beach! The people we met were so kind. I loved staying here aside from the tv issue and hope to return again!

Great Beach Get Away
Great place to stay. Foot steps away from sunsets and sunrises, comfy beds, and all you need for the beach. Towels, chairs, beach toys. As a coffee drinker I also loved the upscale coffee maker. Overall a great stay and would recommend.

Wow, we loved our stay here! The location is perfect with lots to do just a short drive away. But we enjoyed staying in and walking to the beach just outside the back door! The beach is beautiful and clean, as was the property/condo itself. It had everything we needed. We will absolutely be coming back!

We have stayed at Vista Del Mar 3 times. As always we love the quaint surroundings without the huge crowds. The condo is nice and provides us with everything we need for a great beach vacation!

Great Family Location
This property is great for a family for a beach getaway. The ease of walking to and from the beach was perfect for little ones and to be able to take a break from the beach and for everyone to get out of the sun for a little bit. There was plenty of grassy area for out pup to walk in around the property and area as well. The property was set up as shown in the pictures. During our stay we were not aware of the dishwasher being broken so we had to hand wash all dishes. Would have been nice to have some extra paper products supplied to help cut down on dishes since having a dishwasher is a time saver for a big family. The pullout bed was covered in sand. We understand that sand happens at the beach but the mattress protector was not clean and covered when we opened it up to put the sheets on. I think the only thing I suggest to the owner is possibly replace the mattresses especially the king size one. You can tell many people have slept in it as the worn in spots were very uncomfortable. Overall the communication with the owner was spot on and very kind and punctual. I would stay again and recommend it to family as well.

This area was great. Surrounded by nice people all around. The beach was clean although there was seaweed but usually when we come this way its clear. If I could change anything it would be on a higher level so we can see the beach.

Great Vacation!
This beautiful condo is in a small complex, perfect for my me, my husband, and our fur baby Leo, who like to avoid the crowds. The condo was very nicely decorated, with everything you could need for your stay. I was a little disappointed that we couldn’t see the water from our back patio because of the dunes, but all it took was about 10 steps to get to the beach, so that made up for it! David and Kristin were the greatest hosts, with quick answers to my questions and patiently helping me get back inside the condo after accidentally locking us out! Thank you, David and Kristin, for sharing your lovely home-away-from-home with us.
