Note: As I do with all my AirBnb's, i have personally stayed at this property 6 or 7 times, before listing it, and have walked back and forth to the stockyards everytime....during the daytime, early evening, and late night coming back. I have walked by myself and with others. In my experience, I can tell you that its an easy, well lilt and safe walk. And you can stop off at Ray's Sportsman's Club a block away for a nightcap.....a small local bar with a fun mix of Country and Mexican dance music!

2nd Note: If this property doesn't work for you, check out our Stockyards Cowboy Cottage. Sleeps up to 9,. 3 BR, 2 bath, at 1500 sf. Also a short 1.5-2 block walk to the Stockyards...or our Stockyards Cowboy Cabin, for smaller, cozy and less expensive accommodations for 4-6.

Other things to note:
There is a security system on the property. Guests can use it or not. You will receive the disarm code via message, the morning of your arrival.

There is a camera at the driveway and a Ring doorbell at front door

No cameras are inside the house or the Side yard

Note: A main feature and attraction of this home is the short walking distance to Main Street, and all the local attractions people come to see. Yet the home is located in a quiet, working-class residential neighborhood.

As such......full disclosure here...there will be some local traffic noise by the house during rush hours, as residents travel to work in the morning, and back home late afternoon/early evening. Sometimes on weekends as well

So please be fair.... and not ding us for this in your review, as we are being fully transparent regarding this, in several locations of this listing.

Great location to Stockyards
The house was easy walking distance to stockyards. Easy drive to downtown Ft Worth. Beds were comfortable and plenty of space for family. Host was easy to get ahold of and everything went smooth. Neighborhood was safe to walk to Stockyards and side walks all around. Some things to note: the house is on the corner of a very busy 4 way stop sign. This is a cut through to the other part of town so traffic will come and go all hours of the day and night during the week. Everyone in the area has loud exhaust on their trucks so you will hear it all night. School across street they mow at 5 AM during the week. This has nothing to do with the property itself as host was great and supplied noise machines in rooms but something that kept us up all night coming from living in the country where it's quiet at night. If you live in a city it may not be an issue at all but just a heads up to families looking for quiet at night.

We enjoyed our stay very much. David answered messages immediately. Easy to access. Plenty of room. beds were comfortable. Had basic supplies for cooking. We bought laundry detergent and left it there for the next group. You can walk to Stockyards but it felt a little further than it sounds probably because it was hot. Would visit again!

Perfect girls weekend
This was a girls trip with 3 of my friends to visit the stockyards. We were able to walk there each day and find loads of activities to do close by. When the day led into the evening hours it was very easy to cash a uber home within a couple of minutes. The house was clean and spacious and was more than we could have wanted. The theme was perfect for being close to the stockyards. They even had a reference for places to visit for the 'vibe' you are going for which we used and was so helpful. Host was responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend staying here!

Great fit for our needs
Property was just as advertised - clean, comfortable and well equipped. Three teens each had their own space while my husband and I enjoyed having the master bedroom and bath to ourselves. We left early and came home late as we explored Fort Worth and Dallas and the house was a good home base. I appreciate the host’s flexibility and direct communication for some timing shifts in our plans.

This home is an older home a short walk to the Ft Worth Stockyards. It had everything we needed for our stay. The fenced yard was very nice with a covered seating area and picnic tables. There are several areas for people to hang out in and a double garage for parking a small car. Unfortunately, the neighborhood is very loud. There were many loud cars driving by late at night. The host has supplied sound machines in the bedrooms which helped a bit.

Our stay was great. Just as it was described and was very comfortable, relaxed, and had plenty of space. Nice to have use of a garage and not have to worry about parking down at the stockyards which was in east walking distance (a couple of blocks). Host was very responsive with any questions we had.

Very quaint house. Walking distance to the stockyards.
Housekeeper left a couple things not swept up and there were sheets left in the dryer which we folded. Second bathroom faucets in the shower need to be replaced. Other than that very cozy and comfortable. Host is very accommodating and we stay here every year we come. No major complaints. Overall great place to stay.

This home is perfectly located .. 10 min. Walk to the Stock Yards, bars and restaurants. Super clean, spacious, the host was always quick to get back to us with any questions. The back yard grill was perfect for dinners in, the kitchen had plenty of pots and pans for large breakfasts .. we would 100% stay here again!!
