„The property is a little different the way it is run, you pick your keys up from a box outside using a code number for the box. Reception is not manned and a continental breakfast is hung outside your room in the morning. If you require a English breakfast they have a sister restaurant. This may not suit everyone but for the price and a couple of days away it was fine for us. I would certainly look at staying again.“

„I had a very nice stay at this hotel. Although all personnel I was in contact with were professional and competent, I must laud Chris at the desk for his stellar service and engaging manner. I had some problems prior to my arrival, and - though he couldn't help directly - his compassion on the phone and attentiveness once I arrived were memorable.“

„Ich finde alte Gebäude toll, wenn sie gepflegt sind. Dieses Hotel ist einfach nur alt UND dreckig, ungepflegt, kaputt wo man hinschaut. Das Zimmer war für 200 Pfund die Nacht einfach nur schrecklich. Die Bilder täuschen komplett. Wir hatten 4 Nächte gebucht, haben aber nach einer Nacht ausgecheckt. Das Frühstück war okay und die Lage ist toll. Das hat aber nichts mehr gerettet. “
