„Such a lovely stay at this beautiful log home snuggled in the bluffs of Lanesboro. Very welcoming accommodations for a girls trip. We rode 65 total miles on the bike, and took refuge in shelter of home to play games at the kitchen table, cook breakfast with all the provided necessary items from the kitchen, coffee on the porch (swing chairs were amazing), and lots of laughter. „I liked that the cabin is fairly isolated. It was a great location to watch and photograph the Perseid meteor shower. The host was very friendly and accommodating. The only thing I did not like is the lack of running water at the cabin. A very minor issue for me as someone who has done a lot of camping. I would definitely consider staying here again some time. “

„We had a quick and comfortable stay in The Hen House. We aren't crafters but it would be a great set up for a crafting group get away. The beds were comfortable, the house super clean, the kitchen big and stocked with equipment, and communication with the owner could not have been better. There is a cute firepit out back that we didn't have a chance to use due to rain but the setting is among lovely farm land. We would stay again.“

„It was perfect for our family reunion. We had a gathering on Thursday evening… a memorial time for 2 members of the family who passed away earlier this year. And a pot luck on Sunday with many of the family attending. The 3 car garage was great, as the weather was a bit windy & cool, especially, on Thursday evening, so we had to close the garage door. It’s a very nice place.“

„We came up for the weekend for our fanily reunion . The house is old & smells like an old house, which isn't a bad thing. The house was clean & tidy. We couldn't find the hot tub,but it was all good. We didn't spend much time at the house, except for sleeping & watching tv in the evening. Thank you for a pleasant stay.“

„We had a very nice long weekend here with teenagers. The beds were comfortable and the land was great for exploring! The kids enjoyed the endless pool. The showers had great pressure and the whirlpool was enjoyed by most - by it was a tub, not a hot tub. „This property is beautiful. Jill was extremely quick to answer any questions! You absolutely do not need to bring anything along except groceries, the kitchen is fully stocked and then some. The only thing to note would be that the king bedroom does not have a door, and the bedroom with the twin beds is through the king room. „The property is beautiful and the donkeys, cows, dogs, and cats were all so wonderful to be able to see and visit. The property owners are lovely - we got to have some good conversations with them. It’s tucked away in the country which is exactly what we wanted, but it’s only a 10 minute drive to Forestville for fishing, and 30 minutes to Lanesboro for the shops and restaurants. We had an amazing time and will definitely book here again. “
