The house sits proud above Mt Franklin Estate, producer of boutique Italian variety Mafic wines in the gold era village of Franklinford just 15 minutes to Daylesford, 10 minutes to Hepburn, 20 minutes to Castlemaine.

Mafic House has three large bedrooms, the king master with ensuite and French doors to the deck of the pool (heated November-April). Two additional Queen bedrooms have extensive views, and share a large bathroom with shower, clawfoot bath, toilet and tucked-away European laundry. Heating is hydronic with adjustable panels in every room, small wood heater in the dining area, and additional living area heating/cooling by reverse cycle unit.
