„I loved the easy entry to the property. Using a number I know instead of something I would need to remember makes it a breeze. The amenities were great. Very clean. The rug in front of the main door kept getting caught under the door because of the fluffy carpet which was inconvenient so I moved it. I would stay here again and recommend it to others!“

„One of the best VRBOs we have ever stayed at!“

„This was our second stay at Camp Amnicon. We stayed in Quietude last year, but booked Sunset this year because the three new ones weren’t available. It was great!! We think we might like sunset/sunrise better because they feel much more private, and we didn’t need the bigger space of the newer cabins. So cozy - we love the fireplace! “

„This was the perfect location for a large group to relax and welcome in 2025. We enjoyed hiking to the shore, games, and enough space for all of us to gather around the fire. The kitchen was adequate to feed everyone and there were seats enough for all to enjoy meals together. The large TV downstairs was great for a few wanting to watch a football game.“

„My husband and I loved the little cabin. Like the title is was cozy and peaceful. We had no issues with the bathroom and the real toilets and showers were great. The local trails and lake were easy to get to. My husband and I want to plan another trip to visit again.“

„This home is amazing! It's exactly as advertised and is the cleanest home we've ever rented. The amenities are higher end. The views are incredible. I would definitely recommend this home to others. A small item to take into consideration would be to add a small chair or bench in the entryway to aid in putting shoes on. “

„Perfect home and location for a weekend away with my teen and two dogs. The cottage was clean and very comfortable. I loved that we could walk to restaurants and the beach. We will definitely return!“

„We brought our families together for a UMD reunion and the house was perfect! We had plenty of space for our group. We loved the location of feeling separate, but yet fairly close to everything. The owners seem to be making enhancements that will make it even better. There was plenty of games, cooking utensils, dishes, etc. Entire process was smooth. We'll be back!“

„Clean well taken care easy to find nice location“

„Duluth is cold in January... duh!! This place was cozy for sure. It's location is absolutely the best, but in January we weren't outside much. We came to Duluth for a wedding and had several individual needs and a large group (6 adults and two dogs). This place was perfect and allowed for us all to have our own space. Bill was available for all questions too. Games on-site and that helped to make a fabulous weekend.“

„This was a great location for exploring the shore. There was easy access to both Duluth and the North Shore parks. It provided plenty of space for the 6 of us. We were able to gather together for family time and spread out when we wanted to get our homework done (2 college students and a teacher in the group). Be aware that it is on a well, so depending on what you are use to, you might want to bring bottled drinking water. “

Plenty of space to cook and make family meals. We also enjoyed the ample seating as card games were able to include everyone easily at the same table. Nice large dining room table to seat at least ten, maybe even 12 depending on ages.“
