„Our stay at the Fin & Tonic was terrific! The central location was very convenient with stores, ferries and fishing spots close by. The house was still in the process of being updated but was still comfortable, clean and the beds slept great. Stewart, the host/owner was also very complimentary and responded to any questions we had. We will definitely be back!“

„What a cute and immaculately clean little stay. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Our stay was wonderful. The owner was very responsive and even had some nice little surprises waiting for our arrival to enjoy during our stay. The view from the enclosed little sunroom was so nice on the mornings and the evenings. Her recommendations for food were also on point. “

„Lost power on Wednesday and after that the Down stairs AC didn’t work. Carpet needs replaced very dirty. WiFi was in and out all week. Water was shut off to the dishwasher. Friends rented a bigger and better property on the same street with more beds and baths from surf and sound for a lot less“

„I enjoy this campground. It is close to Hatteras Point, fishing, the ferry, shopping, and restaurants. The staff are superstars, so personal and professional. I highly recommend this campground. Its not fancy but it is very clean and comfortable. We will alsways come back, and generally stay here atleast 3xs a season. “

„First time using VRBO, heard horror stories from others regarding key pad to door not working to the location left dirty. This unit was perfect. You can’t come here though expecting it to be like staying in those huge 3 plus level houses. There is no washer and dryer. „It’s was great stay all together, but was mislead when we booked on Vrbo. The duplex was listed as entire home! But we got lucky and the upstairs guest left the next day we arrived so I didn’t feel I had to keep my kids quiet after that. We did like the location and view was wonderful. “

„Exactly as listed, I’ve been coming to Avon yearly for decades, (anyone have a nice place for sale?) This property is right on 12 basically as soon as you get into town. Walking distance to the beach and Froggy Dogs. The pool table and arcade games on the first floor are a nice touch. Would recommend and stay again. “

„Great location on the farthest reaches of OBX, and the little cabana colony is a great place to stay with a short set of stairs over the dune to the beach. The cabana is big enough to offer all that a couple needs for a comfortable stay, and we enjoyed the artwork on the walls. “
