„We had a big group of 14 people and booked this property on Howe Island. The location was great. It was quite, remote and peaceful, just what we were looking for. The hosts, Courtney and Chris along with their kids were very hospitable and did a great job of hosting us. Would definitely consider this place again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great getaway!“

„Beautiful surroundings and everything you need to enjoy the beautiful St. Lawrence River. Our extended family was up and our cottage down the road was full. This was a wonderful space to be close to family and still have privacy, quiet, and all the conveniences of home. Well appointed, clean and very responsive host. If the situation arises again and we love our family so we hope it does - we won't hesitate to return. Well done!“

„Simcoe island is quiet and beautiful. Lots of cows, deer, and different species of birds. Wolfe island has a corner store to stock up on basic supplies (drinkable water). The ferry ride from Kingston to Wolfe island can be a long wait, 1-2 hours. The beach on the property is limestone, make sure to wear water shoes to prevent slipping. Our kids had fun in the waves, which can get quite big when it’s windy. We really enjoyed big sandy beach on Wolfe island - $60 for a family - but well worth it. ...

„This was a wonderful place to stay with our adult kids. We experienced kind and accomodating hosts, plenty of places to sit and relax inside and outside, including a waterfall/pond area, a sizeable swimming pool, and a secluded south-facing waterfront dock to watch the moonlight and daytime world go by, filtered tap water, pet friendly spaces, a spectacular library, wifi and Netflix for the young adults.“

„The host is fantastic, always answering all your questions within an hour. He was at the house when we arrived, and went around the house with us. The house is well located in a very nice neighborhood. It is an older house so it has some quirks (e.g. you have to be careful to not overload the kitchen counter power receptacles), but it is nice and well equipped so it makes you feel at home. We particularly enjoyed the dining room with a view on the golf course.“

„This cottage is a perfect location to enjoy nature and go slow. The lakefront area is perfect for a bonfire night and enjoy the sound of water and falling leaves. The cottage is very clean and updated - you have everything for your kitchen, ample space for two small families. The owner is very prompt in his responses and helped us in sending back the items we left in the cottage. The listing was accurate and we will definitely recommend our friends if they want to book a cottage.“
