Lake enthusiasts! Your perfect home away from home is right here on Neely Henry Lake which offers great crappie, bass and catfish for you fishermen. Come get away and relax while enjoying the gorgeous lake views, fishing, boating and swimming is right in your backyard. Launch your boat less than a half mile away at Canoe Creek Landing then pull your boat up to your private dock and get your sunbathing on while sipping an ice-cold drink or try your luck at fishing and enjoying the Alabama sunshine. Bring your own paddle board or kayak to paddle around the point and park it at the dock where you can enjoy a midday picnic. After a successful day fishing throw your catch of the day on the gas grill or make some s’mores over the fire pit with the provided wood.
Inside you’ll find a newly furnished kitchen with full sized stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave for all your entertaining and dining needs. The dining room table seats six with great views of the lake where you can enjoy beautiful sunrises as you sip your morning coffee. In the Living room you’ll find a Lazy-boy queen sleeper sofa, loveseat,, and a 35 inch t.v. equipped with Dish Network so you never miss your favorite show or game. The bedroom has two new full sized beds and mattresses making the total sleeping accommodations up to six comfortably. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo making vacationing with kids a clean-up breeze. All bed sheets and blankets and bath linens are provided however A laundry room with a washer and dryer is available for use as well should you require to clean the linens as there isn’t a daily maid service provided. The property has a storm shelter and the home has central heat and air for your convenience.

Trash bags and a starter of dishwasher pods and laundry pods and dish detergent. Along with a couple of rolls of toilet tissue and paper towels and also a few keurig pods are also provided.

This rental property is a guest house to the owners home that adjoins the property next door. There is a shared driveway that leads to both homes on a point. The guest house Property is on the right of the driveway and the owners property is on the left.

OWNERS LIVE next door and the driveway is the property lines for the homes. Owners property and dock is not for Vrbo usage.
SORRY NO PETS ALLOWED Inside home or outside on the property!!!!

It was a short drive to speedway, nice to be out in the country, the lake and setting was beautiful! We didn’t have time to enjoy the lake, it wound up being a little chilly. Would definitely recommend!

Thanksgiving Gathering
We rented this great guest house to gather for Thanksgiving Day. The weather was incredible so there was fishing off the private dock, playing in the leaves, and the inside room sat 14 adults (6 at the table, 2 at the bar, and 6 at a fold out table that I brought). One couple spent the night but the rest enjoyed a full day of good food, fun, and family. We hope to do this again in warm weather months to enjoy some water activity. *** Bonus points for seeing a Blue Heron on the dock and a beaver swimming back to his house ***

Great Place On the Water
We stayed a week for a bass tournament and enjoyed our stay. We had a beautiful view from the porch, we were right beside the boat ramp, and even had a gas grill there to cook on every evening. It was clean and very easy to get turned around and park the boat. My only complaint would be that the beds weren’t the most comfortable but they got the job done at least. I would definitely consider staying again in the future.

Talladega Fall Race Weekend
This property worked perfectly for my soon and I for race weekend. At about 45 minutes from the track it was not to far but far enough away from the traffic. I wanted a place on the lake where my son could fish in our spare time. Communication was great and house was clean. We drove 13 hours and were pleased with the description. We didn’t spen a lot of time here as we were busy at the track. Places to eat and gas stations not that far away. We are so thankful for your hospitality. Would definitely stay again.

Peace and Tranquility
My Friend and I were looking for a quiet place to getaway for some R&R! This place was Perfect! The Lakehouse faces a Beautiful view of the lake, plus a dock to fish or just sit and enjoy the scenery! We especially enjoyed watching the Birds coming and going daily as if they lived there! This place is for anyone who loves and enjoy Peace and Tranquility! The Hosts made us feel welcome and right at home! We made the right choice! Wonderful getaway
What an awesome time we had at the lake house at Neely Henry. Everything we needed was there. Our favorite thing to do was sitting on the porch & watching the boats! We ate at Top of the River. It was delicious. We celebrated our 50th anniversary. Loved every minute. We will be back! ❤️

A very nice getaway
The location is great for fishing and swimming. We contacted the owner about a couple of small glitches, and she was very responsive. We ‘d go back and recommend that others do, too. Lake Neely Henry is lovely. Saw great blue heron, egret, turtle and loads of swallows that live under the dock!

Relaxing Weekend with Family
The lake house was directly across from a boat ramp, so we saw lots of beautiful boats. Didn’t catch any fish on the dock, but it was relaxing just sitting there. The house was very clean and had all of the things you’d need to be comfortable and to cook with. Front porch sitting was nice. Would definitely recommend this lake house to anyone with a small group.

Perfect setting for a peaceful and relaxing get-away!

Spring Break
We rented the property to have a couple days during spring break with our grandson. It was the perfect place. We visited Noccalula Falls and spent time together at the beautiful lake house fishing, sitting around the fire pit, and playing a few games. We had a wonderful time. My family decided to attend the fishing expo in Gadsden, AL the weekend of March 10-12. We found this Lakeside cabin nearby and decided it would be an amazing place to spend an extended weekend. We brought our boat. We enjoyed some fishing from the boat and the dock. We enjoyed the expo. The owners were accommodating and very responsive. The house was gorgeous and the view more so. If you are contemplating staying here, do it! Everything was clean and not cluttered. The house was close to restaurants and town. We never knew the owners were on the shared property.

Holiday Family Weekend
We decided to take a trip for Thanksgiving. My husband and I, and our three kiddos enjoyed the property. We loved having access to the fishing/swimming dock. We spent most of our time there.
