Welcome to Knotty Pine Hideaway, your perfect lakeside retreat! Nestled in the heart of Lake Lanier, this rustic yet luxurious 3-level log home is designed for families and friends to relax, play, and create lasting memories. With three king master suites, a gourmet coffee bar, discounted boat rentals for outdoor adventure, and a fun-filled game room, you’ll find everything you need to unwind after a day on the water.

Rustic Luxury: This spacious log home offers 3 king master suites, a gourmet kitchen, a second full kitchen in the basement, cozy living areas, and a game room for entertainment.
Outdoor Fun: Enjoy the outdoors at the double slip party dock (life jackets not provided in all sizes), a Solo Stove firepit, and grilling options (gas, charcoal, and Blackstone griddle).

Inside the Home:

Main Floor: Step into a welcoming foyer and to the left, find the kids' bunk room with 2 twin beds and 2 trundle beds (linens provided). This room connects to a dual-entry bathroom with a tiled shower. The main living room has a huge sectional, gas fireplace, and a smart TV perfect for movie nights. Play board games from the cabinet or enjoy a drink at the faux leather bar area. The newly updated kitchen features a double oven, electric cooktop, and everything you need to prepare meals or enjoy takeout. The main floor king bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Step out to the back deck for grilling and outdoor dining with a view.

Upstairs Master: The upstairs master suite features a jetted tub, anti-fog mirror, and a water closet with a small shower. There’s also a private balcony with a gorgeous partial water view and a movable desk for those needing a “working vacation.”

Loft & Game Room: Across from the master suite is a cozy loft with a kids' reading tent, books, and a poker top game table. Downstairs, enjoy a game room with a pool table and arcade games, plus a full second kitchen for storing drinks. The double queen bedroom is perfect for extra guests, while the third king room offers shared access to a bathroom with a shower. The walk-out deck provides additional seating for relaxing outdoors.

Outdoor Fun:

Kayaks: Two kayaks are available for guest use, perfect for exploring the lake. Please bring your own life jackets, as we may not have all sizes available.
Grilling & Relaxation: Enjoy cooking on the gas/charcoal grill or griddle, and relax around the firepit on the patio after a day of adventures.

Important Notes:

Quiet Hours: Please respect the 11 pm - 7 am quiet period to ensure a peaceful experience for neighbors.
No Pets on Furniture: While we love pets, please ensure they stay off the furniture and clean up after them.
Water Safety: The dock area is at your own risk. Life jackets are required for children under 13 and may not be available in all sizes. Please use water activities responsibly. The water at the dock is quite deep. I have never touched bottom so life jackets are required.

Log Home Charms: Knotty Pine Hideaway is a rustic log home, full of character. Expect creaky floors, unique quirks, and even some fun marks where previous guests played darts very badly! This is part of the home’s charm, and we hope you’ll love it as much as we do!

Additional Details:
With most homes on Lake Lanier, the deeper the water at your dock the steeper the walk. We do have a sloped driveway and a steep walk to the dock. We can not recommend this home if you have any sort of mobility issues.

Parking: Maximum of 4 cars in the driveway; no street parking.
Trash: Trash must be bagged and bins placed at the street on Thursdays. It is okay to leave the bins by the road as it can be difficult wheeling up the bins.

Septic System: Please only flush toilet paper to protect the septic system.

No Parties: While we love hosting birthday gatherings, Knotty Pine Hideaway is not a party house. No large parties are permitted.
Minimum Age: Renters must be at least 25 years old. Maximum occupancy is 13 guests.
