„Family had a fantastic stay. Beds were comfortable, house was in good order. We loved the location and porch, fire pit, etc. The beach location and access is perfect. Only negative was the slight musty smell in house and a few roaches in the kitchen, but those are somewhat to be expected in a beach house. Everything went smoothly and worked well. Highly recommend.“

„Perfect for just 2 or 2 adults with children. Even though the walk is not far, we enjoyed renting a golf cart to get "stuff" to the beach and just riding around.“

„The house was so cute and a perfect size for our little family! It’s in a perfect location to Pleasure Pier, East Beach, local delicious restaurants, and more! All neighbors friendly and we felt very at home! Being originally from New Orleans, it had the vibe we love with a fun, calming beachy twist! I’d definitely recommend the Lavender House or any of their properties! Hosts are attentive, kind, and always available to help! Definitely book with them!“

„House was clean and well equiped. There is a lot of repair going on in the area from the hurricane, it rained a lot while we were there so we explored the area. Not too far from some fun things. Houston and Galveston Island. The house did have a smoker smell, To moat it probably wasnt that bad but we definitely noticed it. . All in all it was a nice trip. Wish the weather was better. 😞“

„We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Coconut cottage! It’s an adorable space that’s so well appointed, nice sharp knives, good pans for cooking, a comfy bed, and a great location. Oscar was a wonderful host, he had lots of helpful suggestions for the area, and when we inquired whether there was a drip coffee maker at the cottage, he offered to buy one so we would have it. We can’t say enough about how wonderful the space is and what great hosts come with!“

It was full of sweet little details that added to the welcoming atmosphere. It had everything you would have in your own home. „The house in an all is really nice. There is a few issues. The owner may want to address as far as vent falling down in kitchen ceiling, toilet seat not fitting on guest bathroom and a weird smell to the water. Other than that, it was great and very clean upon our arrival.“

„Beautiful and cozy place but the air conditioning wasn’t working properly even though we let the manager know a few times since we checked in, it turned out that it was set to be in 78 degree every hour and we learned that by the manager right before check out. Also the smoke alarm went on from 4 to 7 am being really annoying.“

„Super Lage, Anlage ist zwar etwas alt aber top gepflegt! Nur die vierspurige Straße zwischen Hotel und Strand ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig! Der Strand entschädigt mit feinem Sand und warmen Meerwasser, indem sich die Fische tummeln!“

„We had a wonderful one-night stay with our family! The property was very clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for the kids to hang out while the adults enjoyed visiting and playing cards. The short walk to the beach was perfect, and we were able to experience a lovely sunset together. The only small suggestion we have is to add a Keurig to the kitchen in place of the regular coffee pot for added convenience. Overall, the stay was awesome, and we’d love the opportunity to stay here again!“
