Ein privates, helles und geräumiges Cottage - ideal für einen erholsamen Urlaub und um die Umgebung zu erkunden.
Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge zu den Cliffs of Moher, den Burren, der Kylemore Abbey, Connemara, den Aran Islands, Cong und Galway City.
Das Hotel liegt in einer ländlichen Gegend, nur 10 Autominuten vom Stadtzentrum von Galway entfernt.
3 Autominuten zu Restaurants, Pubs und Geschäften.
Das Stadtzentrum von Galway (Eyre Square) ist 8 km entfernt.
Die Galway Race Course (Ballybrit) ist 5 km entfernt.

Geräumige, friedliche, gemütliche, eigenständige Charming Irish Country Cottage. Es gibt einen großen und komfortablen offenen Wohn- / Ess- / Küchenbereich mit allen modernen Geräten.
Ausstattung: Ölzentralheizung mit Steinkamin und Feststoffofen. Kraftstoff, Strom und Starterpaket für Feuer, Bettwäsche und Handtücher sowie WLAN.
Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet mit Kaffeemaschine, Kühlschrank, Geschirrspüler, Elektroherd und Backofen und führt zum Hauswirtschaftsraum mit Waschmaschine, Trockner, Gefrierschrank und Mikrowelle.
Ein kontinentales Willkommenspaket mit Müsli, Obst, Brot, Saft, Milch, Zucker sowie Tee und Kaffee wird angeboten.
Zwei Schlafzimmer: eines im Erdgeschoss mit einem Kingsize-Schlafzimmer und einem Badezimmer, und im Obergeschoss ein Kingsize-Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad. Es bietet Platz für vier Personen.
Es gibt einen Garten an der Seite des Hauses mit Gartenmöbeln. Das Cottage ist von einer Hecke umgeben und mit einem Tor sowie einem Parkplatz abseits der Straße umgeben. Die Unterkunft bietet Platz für maximal 4 Personen.
Keine Haustiere erlaubt und nicht rauchen.
Nicht für kleine Kinder geeignet, da sich die Schlafzimmer nicht auf derselben Etage befinden.
Es gibt keine Einrichtungen für Säuglinge / Kleinkinder in der Hütte.

Wir wohnen in der Nähe und stehen Ihnen bei Bedarf während Ihres Aufenthalts zur Verfügung.

Es gibt einen Seitenweg zum Dorf, das eine Meile entfernt ist.
Es verfügt über zwei Hotels, eine Kirche, ein Postamt, ein Café, zwei Supermärkte und eine Reihe von Geschäften.
Für die Fortbewegung wird ein Auto empfohlen.

Adorable Cottage for a nice escape from city
It's exactly as described. It's in the country but not too far from Galway by taxi. We were easily able to walk a mile to a decent restaurant. Hostess replied immediately to any inquiries. If you don't have a car like us, it's still doable. Taxis are 10 min away. House is spotless and very nicely decorated!

Wonderful well appointed cottage!
The location is great - in a lovely neighborhood surrounded by farms and minutes from groceries, pub with excellent food and everywhere you want to go. The 200 year old cottage has all the modern amenities- yet retains the charm and quaintness of the past. The hosts were lovely - Make sure you read the book the host has put together - it’s full of history of the region and fantastic recommendations for what to do in the area - and we changed our plans once we read it and were so glad We did!! Waiting for us when we checked in was everything we needed for breakfast, snacks, cozy fire, showers, wash …it could not have been more organized and well appointed. Highly recommend!

Felt like home
The cottage is perfectly situated about 5 miles outside Galway city in a beautiful little suburb right off the main road. Close to every convenience you’d need—gas, food, etc. The interior is cozy and Cathy left treats around the house to increase the comfort of our stay. The beds are extremely comfortable, and although the owners were nearby working on the farm, we felt we had our privacy. Would def recommend staying here and we’d love to return. one thing to note is there is a farm animal on property so there is a bit of smell at times but we dont mind those kind of things. :)

I had a wonderful time at Cathy and Martin's Cottage! They were both great hosts. Communication was excellent and always in a timely fashion. I was welcome to a nice peat fire and a morning basket. The house is clean and all supplies needed are there. The location is perfect for the West Coast and more... I will gladly return to their Cottage! Great Accommodation for Galway Area
We really enjoyed this cottage and the location. It's location between Galway and Claregalway makes it handy to tour the city, yet Claregalway was convenient for groceries etc. Also the location allowed easy day trips northward to Westport and Kylemore Abby. The cottage is clean, well maintained and had everything we needed including a washer and dryer. Beautiful and very cosy cottage
We really liked the cottage, everything you might need was available, it was clean, and also coffee, tea and fruit and breakfast for the first day! Very nice surprise. Cathy was real nice and the cottage is very close to Galway and Connemara. Also a good place to stay if you want to visit the Aran islands. You definitely need a car though. If we visit Ireland again, this will be a place to return to.

Perfect cottage for a vacation near Galway
We had an absolutely lovely stay. The cottage was perfect. More than we expected. Especially the Welcome basket with all the the Things needed for a First breakfast. The town (Claregalway) was Just two kilometres away, so that we had the chance to take a stroll around the neighbourhood and then to buy things for the dinner. We can recommend the Café Roots. Lovely waitresses there and the cakes were fantastic.

This lovey cottage is in an ideal location to explore the Galway and surrounding area quiet but a short drive to local shops and restaurants. The cottage was extremely clean and tidy well equipped with all mod cons although it does not have a TV. The owners are close by and very amicable and willing to help should needs must.

Absolutely Wonderful Stay
We stayed here while touring Galway, Adare and the Ring of Kerry by rental car. Cathy’s cottage is a gem - quiet, spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and close enough to be central without being in the traffic. We loved staying here. Cathy also equips the cottage with thoughtful amenities like coffee, fresh milk and orange juice, fresh bread and butter, and snacks - meaning you don’t need to go out and find those things on arrival.
