„Inside cabin was great, air con worked really well on 40 degree days. We were very happy with little clean tidy cabin which had plenty of cooking utensils. overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again. However, we noticed Towels were worn. Also the Outdoor alfresco area could be improved with seating and made tidier.“

„On arrival we were greeted by our wonderful host Chris who shared his wealth of information about the area. The house was perfect for our stay with family. Very clean,tidy, spacious and comfortable with everything we needed and more. The children were delighted when Chis arrived the next morning to feed the emus goats and chooks. „It was so lovely and bright. Huge deck out front. A full kitchen with hidden fridge even a dish washer drawer. Beds were super comfortable and a tv in each room. Shower had no steps. Just walk in with a glass wall . Lovely big couches. Bit low though Loose pebbles and a slant made it hard for me to walk to steps. A cement pad directly in front of step would have been helpful. You actually felt like you could live there for ages not just holiday. Staff went above and to help us. I have ...

„Ohhh what a place to stay for relaxing vacation time! Loved it, the place itself says everything nice, clean, neatly, close to everything. And the great thing about this property was near the main road but still so quiet and peaceful because of it is surrounded with really nice big trees. The river behind the property was the highlight of the trip. We could walk behind the property and just jump in to river for swim and all this, thanks to Gary(Host) he keep the walk way neat and tidy for people ...

„Beautiful wander down into town, on the quiet side of the river but still just 5 mins away with slow walking kids. It was very hot in the kids room as no air con just a fan. It made for three very unpleasant nights as we were all up dealing with the heat / swapping sleeping arrangements etc. I wouldn't stay again unless winter because of this. Upstairs spacious and the kitchen had everything we needed. “

„Set in the grounds of the May Day insane asylum, this lovely hotel and its attentive, hard working staff was a great place to stay. The restaurant and bar area were great, the hotel has a warm cozy feel, the rural views and the tour of the old asylum were a bonus and the gorgeous grounds made for a peaceful visit.
