„We were very comfortable in this space. If only it was warmer and we could have had coffee on the patio. As is common in N California, the smell of mildew was very prevalent in the bathroom and bedroom, but it wasn't a deal breaker. But we loved being able to walk just down the street and walk the dunes and beach. The neighborhood was very quiet and the location was easy to locate and a good starting point for our visits with family.“

There is a binder with thoughtful suggestions of where to eat and what to do in the area as well as a bicycle to use around this bicycle-friendly town. „This was the perfect place for us to stay at while we were visiting the area. It was a central location to be able to do day trips to Eureka, Arcata, Trinidad and Fern Canyon. „A clean and maintained property. The proprietor seems to put a lot of effort into making it welcoming and livable. I enjoyed having a full kitchen and basic ingredients (spices, cooking oil, coffee, tea, etc.) without having to buy full quantities. Some older details need work like the shower faucet. It was tricky to figure out how to change the temp. Loved having a laundry facility and free parking! All in all a great little spot to call temporary home. Would book again. “
