We enjoyed the property with swimming, kayaking or playing lawn games as we waited for the beautiful sun sets. The garage was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the July weather not exceed 75 degrees. „My husband and I stayed for a little kid-free get away. The location was perfect for us to be able to travel to town, other near by cities, and have dinner/drinks right next door! „I can’t say enough nice things about our stay at Camp Thunderbuck! We especially appreciated being able to use the fishing boat, kayaks, paddle boards, and paddle boat. The lake is shallow in front of the house and perfect for the kids to play in that crystal clear water. The house was clean and comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. Fishing was good for panfish. We also caught several small pike and one pretty nice one. We would definitely stay here again. “

The cost of 2 hotel rooms to fit our family was double the cost of renting this amazing little house, enough beds amd space for us all the have a comfortable time. Beds were so comfortable we slept like babies! Played games at the table, cooked meals as a family and everyone had a great time making memories. Living room furniture was not super cozy- only negative! “

„Overall it was a great stay. We thought the inside of the cabin was actually cuter in person. It was a little disappointing how close the neighbors were considering the remoteness of the property but it was fine. Our 2 dogs LOVED playing in the shallow bay. There were some broken items (outdoor chair, shower door, missing towel bar, etc.) but nothing we couldn't maneuver around. Sent a list of these items to the property manager so they could be repaired for the next guests. Beds were very ...

„What’s beautiful home with incredible views of the lake. Set up perfectly for a family and even included a video game console. Beds were comfortable and there wasn’t a need or want that wasn’t supplied for. The fireplace was perfect on the snowy cold days. The communication with the hosts was A+++ they made sure that even the driveway was plowed. The town of Manistique looked like it had stepped out of a Hallmark movie and had wonderful small shops. Will return again“

„One can't ask for a better location to enjoy the outdoors right across the street from the large, local park. We enjoyed daily walks along the bay, sat at the beach and soaked up the sunshine. Next time, we'll bring our fishing gear. “
