Staying in Geneva? Look no further
The cottage is everything as described and more. Excellent location just steps away from the main strip of shops and restaurants. The cottage itself is well decorated and has everything you could possibly imagine to enhance your stay - Netflix/games/coffee/dishes... Walking distance to some nice trails and surrounded by the lovely homes of Geneva. This cottage comes with its historic charm and modern accommodations throughout. Easy process checking in and out! The only thing to note beyond how great the stay was is that because of its close proximity to restaurants and shops there was quite a bit of truck noise of deliveries and trash pickups prior to 7am (perhaps some earplugs if you are a light sleeper). It was a minor inconvenience however not a dealbreaker on how great the stay was. Highly recommended!

Perfection!
This historical property is lovely! I would call the decor "classy cottage, " which was admired by all who visited during an informal family gathering. There is plenty of room inside and outside. The beds were so comfy! It was also close to shopping in quaint little shops and fabulous restaurants. This will be my go-to place to stay anytime I'm back in Chicago.

The most perfect stay
We had the BEST stay at this property. I booked this house as a place for my friend and small bridal party to sleepover the night before and get ready for her wedding day. We just adored it. It's light, bright, and gorgeous. Also, the bathroom floors were heated which was such a nice touch on a cold February weekend. (Though the house was also shockingly well-insulated for how old it was so we weren't cold at all!) In addition to being adorably (and functionally!) decorated, it was located within walking distance to everywhere we needed to be. I don't have an ounce of criticism for this house or host. Thank you SO much for making this weekend so special for my friend!!!! :) :) :)

Campbell Cottage
The location of the property was perfect … walking distance to everything downtown Geneva has to offer. The unit was nicely decorated and well stocked with any dish or cooking utensil you could imagine. We traveled with our kids so sleeping arrangements weren’t an issue. However, there are really only 2 true bedrooms. The 3rd room downstairs offered a full size pull out sofa so could only really sleep one adult comfortably. Overall we loved Campbell cottage and would definitely stay again!

Overall good. Kitchen had issues. Simple, concise directions for coffee maker would’ve helped. Oven temperature didn’t seem regulated correctly making it difficult to bake breakfast casseroles. We appreciated the easy check out process and the close proximity to town.

Excellent Stay for Return to Geneva
This historic cottage is located in the heart of Geneva's downtown shopping district, within easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and parks. The cottage's interior layout is very comfortable, and the furnishings are both charming and appropriate to its historic character. The beds are very comfortable, and the air conditioning was quite welcome as it was very warm during our stay. We think we've found our preferred place for our next return to Geneva.

GREAT Property and location.
Charming cottage. Joanna Gaines would approve the decor. This was our family’s first time to stay in a VRBO. Kristin was very accommodating to our family of seven adults (note: the extra fee for additional guests is well worth it.) The house was immaculate and well stocked. We were in Geneva for a bridal breakfast at Graham’s 318 and were able to walk to all the shops. The Metra train station is in walkable distance if you want to go to Chicago. Safe area. Host pays attention to detail. Comfortable sleeping accommodations with quality linens. Quality bath and body products. Washer/dryer on site was useful.

Our stay at the Cottage was wonderful. The attention to detail in the decor was impressive and the location in Geneva could not have been better. Perfect location and extremely comfortable!
We had such a great stay here! If you need to rent a house in Geneva, this house is the one. Location is perfect- a couple minutes walk to the shops of downtown Geneva. My kids loved walking to get ice cream. The house was beautiful! It had 19th century charm, but also had modern luxuries (I.e. heated bathroom floor and gorgeous shower). Very comfortable beds and spacious bedrooms. So clean, and so cozy. The owner was perfect and responded every time I had a question. It truly felt like home. Thank you!

Campbell Street Cottage
We had a perfect stay while visiting our daughter for Christmas. The cottage is perfectly appointed with much attention to detail. We really appreciated the Christmas decor which helped us feel right at home. We also enjoyed being in walking distance to all the shops and restaurants the area has to offer. Check in and out was breeze, and the host was very easy to communicate with. We would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to returning!
